Despite all this it is notable that in 2023 the newly promoted teams, Bournemouth. Nottingham Forest and Fulham all stayed up. Two of which are now top half teams.
My understanding now as a Forest fan has persuaded me to believe paying the promoted teams a fairer amount and removing some spending restrictions.. would provide a more realistic chance of promoted clubs competing against the more established Prem clubs each year.
Your 'solution ' would make the gap bigger and even harder for newly promoted teams to stay up. Reducing or removing parachute payments would mean newly promoted teams would be taking huge risks signing contracts and buying players after promotion. So they would spend less and reduce chances of being competitive in the Premier League.
It used to be a matter of "as long as a championship promoted side is well managed and makes the right transfers, they have a decent chance to survive". But now, what are the right moves? There's only so much money these sides have compared to their established PL counterparts and the margin for error is already low. Feels like it's even lower now.
For sure has gotten lower. For a championship side to make it in the prem they need to have a really smart dude running the club, make smart signings in the years prior to promotions AND a long term outlook. Its so difficult to stay up now so teams should be viewing it as a long term project. Get promoted, get that sweet prem money, sign the best up and coming players from the championship, a couple of premier league stalwarts on the decline and prepare for the season after. Get relegated sure but it gives all those players a chance to bed in and gel together so hopefully the next season in the championship is a bit of a cake walk. Hasn't worked out for Luton mind you lol but I think thats probably the best way to stay up. Also think Luton were in a bit more of a difficult position anyway as their promotion was a bit of an against the odds shock anyway. But for teams like say ... Middlesbrough, Sunderland or West Brom for example, 3 sides with pretty good players already that could 'do a job' in the prem? Probably the best strategy for them. Most of their starting 11s wouldn't look out of place in a lower level prem side.
Becoz of the system in premier league more premier league clubs are looking strongest plus star strucked players but championship clubs players are rising and in development thats the reason
I one time said to myself that the Championship would become a Top 5 League if the Revenue was better distributed. I say this because of how the Popularity of Wrexham has gotten people interested into lower leagues.
@@filiptodorovic05 I have been saying that the three promoted where going down all season. Tbh it all depends on how sh*t Wolves do. I backed Oneil but no idea with this new manager, guess we will see. Hopefully they do go down though

All of them top half
Forest lead the charge at 3rd
BOURNMOUTH are next at 7th and Fulham are the worst of the three but are 9th in the prem 9TH!!!!
I'm suprised that this video is from such a small channel. Really good work

I think leeds United will break the relegation curse in next season and stay permanently in premier league
I hope so because if not, this issues gets even bigger.
Don’t be so sure
One out of three (that was already in the Prem a couple of years ago) would still be pretty bad.
Leeds Sunderland and Sheff uted will get promoted to the prem

We will soon go from top6 in the PL to the top17 of english football
Alrdeay have in my opinion
@Footy13s If we get all 3 of them relegated again like last season it will be official

@Footy13s Wolves are really bad this season we will see if they are gonna survive, Everton will survive for sure cause they got Moyes back
Imo what’s crazy is that baring Leeds United and Ipswich Town, the premier league is exactly that same as in the 22/23 season
PSR killed the big 6 and created a big 17
Why do you keep using money as the problem money doesn’t really win games
Quality content. Is there any good solution, though?
nice kit btw
PSR and FFP is killing the sport
