Great stuff you mentioned. I realize personal taste goes a long way deciding what gets included but I would add The Who "Tommy" and "Quadrophenia" and Cream "Wheels of Fire".

Blonde on Blonde would probably be my No 1, too ❤
No London Calling? The Wall ?
Nice video again, thanks for sharing

I think The Wall is a bit bloated and I love The Clash but I don’t have either of those on vinyl so didn’t mention them..

My favourite double studio album on LP is probably Freak Out but that can change. Great video Glen.

Very good Glen. I have Exile at #1 and BOB at #2. Visions is also my favourite Dylan tune. Fun stuff.

Hi Glen…..that double Bruce is an excellent album! Zep Phys Graffiti? Yep! Beatles? Yep! Nice picks, sir- my list would be dramatically different…this might be a fun thread! 😎👍

Love to see your list..I tried to stick with studio albums..there are a lot of amazing double live albums..enough for its own video..

Songs in the Key of Life was so grand it needed 2 lps and a 7in. to get it all in. First purchase with my own money! Bela was my entry to bluegrass with Tales from the Acoustic Planet in 1999. I'm one of those weirdos that still listens to Hackney Diamonds, I still really enjoy it!

Good list. Blond on Blond is the best album ever, single or double.

Glen, I completely agree with your top 2 picks Dylan and Excile are classic double albums! I would have dropped some of the Chicago records and put in Skull and Roses from the Dead but otherwise a great list

Good point about what makes a REAL double record, versus a more recent album that requires two records. That would be hard to determine what post 85 releases may actually qualify :)

Nice list. Yes's Tales has always been a problem for me. I was a huge fan when it came out, so i really wanted to like it. But it never did it for me. I've tried through the years, even recently, but still a no. As you mentioned abou CTA, this one may have been better if it was three sided. That was also Rick Wakeman's opinion. They forced extra material to fit a double because the album was too long for two sides. I'm glad you mentioned in a reply that you stuck to studio albums only for this video. When i didn't see Fillmore East included, i was in shock, lol. Cheers!

Frampton Comes Alive. Beatles, (red trim, and blue trim, best of) Beach Boys Endless Summer.

Hey Glen! Speaking old man to semi-old man, I agree on your take of what qualifies as a true "double album." 3 was a good point to drop off from Chicago, for me "Saturday in the Park" killed them. I have 8 of your top 10, but 4 of them I never listen to. Too funny that you mentioned the dust collector 'Hackney Diamonds.' I recorded a video tribute to you yesterday that will post today....Cheers!

I'm somewhat surprised that Live/Dead wasn't on your vinyl list this time around.

Since I grew up mainly listening to CDs (just had about two or three years with cassettes and vinyl) double albums really don't mean that much to me. I had/have a few that you have shown on CD and it really is not the same.
Love the rant about the Ringo album, only listened to it for Molly, Billy and the Lowell sisters (aka Larkin Poe) and was really disappointed how small their contribution was. What a wasted opportunity.

Totally agree..how can you have such talented musicians on your album and not showcase that talent..More surprised at T Bone Burnett than Ringo..

My #1 is Physical Graffiti. The frank zappa album I would have put would have been uncle meat because it is the first zappa album I heard.

Hi Glen!!! To me double records are hit or miss..... some are masterpieces, but many are just ok records with to many songs or music bloated in in a cd or double vinyl. to me the highlights have to be Zeppelin and the Stones. cheers and be well

Songs In The Key Of Life is a step down from the previous three single albums.
