Very interesting game, great explanation about the endgame: thank you! This game shows how much the game of go changed because of AI. Like, when replaying the current Leela Zero games, and seeing how AI influenced the kind of game Shin Jinseo plays, it’s like two wholy different worlds, amazing! This game is a bit like also watching Kong Jie’s games at his peak. As a humble amateur I would say, that in those games really nothing seemed to happen, territory being so important. Not so in the current games, it’s all fighting and reading, where territory only seems to matter at the end of the game, if that game really makes it to the endgame. Fantastic, these different styles! And I wonder, will the Lee Changho style ever return?
Lee changho my favourite player ! When I play through his games I was always like "hey you need to tenuki, catch the sente now you are behind! " And after that He will show me the basic moves, lol!
@@rainerrafferty No problem ^^ This drama has caused a hit in go learning for a while ^^ His character and go records resembles Lee Chang Ho a lot, he is more handsome though ^^
And have consequently improved human play and understanding of game. No one human is literally going to Master the game entirely, even if computers could.
I started learning Go because Reply 1988, thank you for this amazing video

The endgame seems much more climactic when Lee Changho is playing it :)
I used to think endgame was boring too^^

Lee Chang-Ho: _plays a game_
5 years later: "Hey, I think I found a better place for you for move 65!"
That was amazing! thanks

Review is amazing! But what is the relation to reply1888 drama?
That character is a portrait of Lee Chang Ho in that era ^^

Sadly all gods are dead, these days Ai have claimed the god of early, mid and late game.
