As a Yankees fan, I saw Johnny up at the plate many times at home games. My kids were also fortunate enough to see him play too. His hits were always well-timed and always came right when we needed a hit! This man is a Yankees legend and I'm happy to see him enjoying the fruits of his labor today!
As a Sox fan I now understand why he left to that other team that starts with the letter Y. I remember the slam like it was yesterday. I was in my very last class for college and told my professor I had to leave to watch the Sox. She asked if it would be worth failing the class and I told her yes and went to the local packed bar to watch. I didn’t fail the class and watched one of the best moments in sports history. Thank you Johnny! Love this show.

Johnny is a great person! I met Johnny at the airport and we were on the same flight from Boston to Orlando a few months ago. He took time to talk to everyone that came up to him and take pictures with people. I can’t say enough great things about him!!

You were so much fun to watch with all the other
great players on your team! The a yanks were My husband’s
family when he was growing up alone. Started when he was a kid
Listening to the game on radio. I’m thankful that prior to
his passing away from cancer, I had bought tickets to a
game in 2008. Eighth row seats, behind home plate. CC Sabathia
pitched against the Red Socks and won the game!
He was able to touch the plaques of some of his favorite
players in the memorial park. One of his favorite thing ( and
became mine as well) was when they had all of the
former players there for opening day. He showed tears
in his eyes just enjoying seeing these old timers.
I have to say…my most favorite time watching the
Yankee, was when you, Derek Jeter and the others
we’re playing!
On another note…home is home..is home…No
matter how much you have THERE….please take
your wife on a romantic getaway….after all the
years you worked away from home….she deserves
to be spoiled….pampered….room service…Chocoate
covered strawberries….sandy beaches…..dancing in
the moonlight….You have NO IDEA how happy you
could make her….no kids….no cooking….no routine…

Really interesting I used to watch baseball a few years ago in Spain and of course it was Johnny Damon who I used to watch he was the star I wanted to see. Nice report, glad he is doing well.
Used to work outside cart staff at Golden Bear, was able to meet Johnny a few times. Great guy and super friendly!

A resort in a resort! Man, my kids would rock that place out come Halloween! Ha, must have been hard to leave after the interview!. The clown rules, and I agree with Johnny, the two sports that use to put me to sleep as a kid, golf and soccer, are my favourite to watch! Keep giving, and living dream. Great interview Travis.

Love the content but we need to see more of the “home tour”. I think we only saw 3 areas of the 30k sq ft house! Ask questions as you tour different areas of the house. Keep it up Travis!

Loved this! Johnny was by far one of my favorite Red Sox players during his tenure there! Hopefully one day here in South Florida I cross paths with Johnny and get him to autograph my golf bag!
He had several golf tournaments for his charities in Florida and is always looking for teams of 4 to play, and he’s very out going with the players and his fans he’s very down to earth just a regular guy!!!

What a great person. As a Red Sox fan I hated it when he left the Sox for the Yankees. No other sporting event was better then the Sox coming back 0-3 against the Yankees to win the ACLS in 2004.
