Ryan Reynolds first became aware of Deadpool because a producer friend told him after seeing the film Blade Trinity that if they ever make a Deadpool movie he would be perfect to play him. Ryan confessed that he had never heard of Deadpool before, so the producer mailed him some Deadpool comics. When he was reading the comics there is a scene in one issue where he is walking down the street and an old woman asks Deadpool what he looks like under the mask, he then says “ I look like a cross between Ryan Reynolds and a Shar-Pei”. After Ryan heard destiny call to him he then spent the next 11 years trying to get this movie made.
Fantastic! Can't wait to see her through these movies. So fun fact. In that last fight he was supposed to have all his guns and it would be a big expensive fight. But they found out they didn't have a marketing budget that the budget they were given was supposed to be for marketing too. So they saved like 3-5 mil by changing the final fight to be swords and added the bit of him forgetting the guns again lol.
SAM! SAMMY! I think one of my favorite things about Sam being in the reaction vids is the older referencing she gets and hearing her make old references. Her reaction to the Senade O'Conner joke and her reference to the Unabomber 😂.

The ‘comparing scars’ is actually an old Monty Python sketch called ‘Yorkshiremen’. Pretty much ad verbatim used here, including the cardboard box-part 😂 Pretty much the second-coolest reference after ‘Negasonic Teenage Warhead’ being named after a cool track by Monster Magnet.

With the exception of Christopher Reeves as Superman and Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool is the most perfect casting for any comic book character in film history.

Can they be arranged so that the first are at the top and the newest reactions are at the bottom? That way, if we’re catching up on multiple missed episodes, they play in the order you released them. Hi there and hello Mr. Harloff. At the end you mention that DP is so humor dense. There are so many things that you miss if you don’t watch it several times. Like the second time DP tell Dishsoap that he has something in his teeth, he does. If you look closely there is some green something in his teeth. Also after he rips his briefs out through his outfit fly there is some yellow stain on them. If you are able to pause at the shot looking at the Dead Pool Board there are so many funny names listed. Also Dead Pool is the name of a Clint Eastwood movie from the late 70’s early 80’s based on a similar premise. The humor density (no pun intended) is amazing. Dp's mutant power is he just does everything perfectly. Whether it's jumping off an overpass into a certain vehicle or playing ski ball and getting a perfect score, everything he does is spot on. And that guy that got shot in the head in the beginning wasn't a mutant. The bullet had already gone through 2 heads. It didn't have enough power to go through another, just break the skin. You should watch the post credit scene. A lot of young kids didn't get it but you will. Also, when they show the actual deadpool in that bar, pause it and read the names. LMAO.
I just recently realized that "Jared" / "Agent Smith (the guy with the high hairline) was in Galaxy Quest. "The animal materialized inside out.......and exploded!!!" What range!!!!!
The reason Wade keeps forgetting his guns is due to the movie budget. They just didn't have enough money for extended gun battles. So it helps keep the movie going and somewhat explaining why the lack of huge gun fights. 😂 Bob the goon is a reference to a friend of Deadpools known in the comics as Hydra Bob. He is a mercenary whi signed up with the Red Skulls Hydra organization. Deadpool usually refrains from attacking Bob. 😅 Former MMA fighter Gina Carano plays Angel Dust. Much like the first Iron Man movie much of the dialogue was ad-libbed. They shot multiple takes with different jokes and just kept the best takes for each scene. 😂
Kristian, I'm sorry to say, if we were doing a Schmoedown match, you would have missed that question, it was Lethal Weapon 3 when they were comparing scares, not part 4

The British villain is in Allita Battle Angel, he plays a British villain. In the first scene when the radio changes it plays a few seconds of the Batman theme song. No one ever catches that. TJ Miller managed to ruin his continued part in the series. In Transformers, he was killed off early because of his attitude. The actor playing the recruiter is in Galaxy Quest.
Ed Skrein is a great actor, but he is much more engaging in villlain roles than playing a good guy in movies/tv series. Morena Baccarin has acted everywhere in tv/movies. She had a great tv series The Endgame that I loved, which sadly was cancelled after one season. Loved the reaction keep em coming Kristian.

Well, she’s definitely gonna be a regular. So we’re trying to figure out after Deadpool and wolverine what she’s gonna watch next. If she watches the X-Men movie she’ll be tied up for a long time. So I’m not sure if we’re gonna start her with those or do something else first. I guess I’ll let you guys decide in a vote.
I think we could definitely do some horror films. That’s what Tina will be there for. Although, Sam has made it clear that she likes the horror movies also.
I think if you go too far back, she probably has seen a lot of stuff. She is a movie lover. Life just got in the way and she’s very busy. She’s very active and I think that there were just a lot of movies currently that fell by the wayside, I would guess that she has seen the rock, but who knows

I used to watch Stargate SG1 then Stargate Atlantis, Morena Baccarin/Vanessa was in Stargate Atlantis as a baddy which she played it well back in the early 2000s.

Well, she’s definitely gonna be a regular. So we’re trying to figure out after Deadpool and wolverine what she’s gonna watch next. If she watches the X-Men movie she’ll be tied up for a long time. So I’m not sure if we’re gonna start her with those or do something else first. I guess I’ll let you guys decide in a vote.

I think if you go too far back, she probably has seen a lot of stuff. She is a movie lover. Life just got in the way and she’s very busy. She’s very active and I think that there were just a lot of movies currently that fell by the wayside, I would guess that she has seen the rock, but who knows

The dude that pulled the bullet from his forehead doesn’t have any kind of powers whatsoever. When a bullet goes through 2 skulls, chances are right around 100% impossible that it has anywhere near enough velocity to go through a 3rd.
