The wife and I were decided on a Telluride and then the local Hyundai dealership got in one of these and I tried it. Sold - we went for the Palisade and are thrilled with driving it. Have 1000 miles on it in the last two weeks (since purchasing). Everything works as advertised and it's a joy to take a long trip in! I'm a pro musician and it holds my PA system and keyboard setup with room to spare and the self-leveling rear suspension keeps the headlights pointing at the road when I'm driving home at night with a full load - excellent!
Great review! This will be my next car. Just a couple things that I think would’ve been great to mention. The Palisade has a class exclusive feature of SECOND ROW COOLED SEATS, which is unheard of in the regular mass market brands. Also, Hyundai has the best lane keep assist tech in the business. There’s a mode you can activate where it constantly “traces” the lane for you, so you can drive a lot easier, and once you turn it on, it stays on 24/7 without you having to re-enable it every time you drive the car. And because it works 24/7, you do not have to be in cruise control for it to trace the lanes, which other brands make you do. It basically steers by itself lol. The curves it can make by itself are VERY impressive. Therefore, it’s the best lane keep! Also, it would’ve been nice to mention that it has automatic high beam headlights, which sense other drivers and shuts the high beams on and off for you without you having to touch it. Rain sensing wipers as well!
We have owned our Palisade for over a year now and absolutely love it. One of the nicest SUVs on the market for half the price with all the standard features. I’ve had two friends ask me about the Palisade and both have purchased and are very happy with their SUVS #recommended

This SUV is just wow! It looks very beautiful and is a big, comfortable family-cruiser. And Hyundai gave it many smart details like the blind-spot system which shows you the blind spot in the driver-information-system. They make very good cars now.
They've been making good cars for 10 years... It's just taken the industry this long to catch on. They'll be the number 1 car company in the world one day, mark my words.
These things are $60,000 for a 2021 Calligraphy trim level. One like this is going for 55000 out the door in July 2021. Crazy but we love it. Epic review, man!

The only drawback is that there are no beige interiors here in Ontario so I had to order the car. 10-12 weeks delivery! To get all the features that this car offers I figured it would cost me another 10 grand for a North American brand.
I was doing research for my next vehicle and I saw the safety info for the Santa fa so I went to Hyundai website and came across this vehicle and fell in love with how luxuriously it looked, all the tech, and the sierra burgundy. i hope to see this vehicle again in 2021

Love the colorful instrument cluster I would buy it just for that, but great suv all around one of the best ive seen yet. I would buy one, 2ed suv would be the telluride kia. Both are a great price with alot of options and well built.
Canadian version for remote access is extremely horrible. Not sure why it can’t be international or same app access. Canada we miss out on half the options. And they are the good options. No coin tray. That sucks. And radio volume knob needs to be bigger. The mirrors should also fold in having the limited package I thought it came with it. Nope It is a nice suv. Just need to get that app fixed. BlueLink Also can’t hook up to Alexa like the states can.
@@MikesCarInfo Thanks. I will be buying the ultimate shortly. I will be taking a chance on the South Koreans. Highlander has terrible gps and the interior is not so nice. Honda has a timing belt and that pathetic VCM and the interior sucks also. Palisade has an amazing interior. Plus my last camry which I sold back to the dealer made a loud clunking sound when put in or taken out of park with less than 20,000 kms.

Agreed. I bought one yesterday (limited). They also forgot folding mirrors, but I have to be honest - none of those were deal breakers. My wife owns a GLE350 and this SUV competes with her Merc and I would argue came out higher. Hyundai really did a great job with the attention to details...little things - slip resistant storage underneath center console. Hand grip to get to third row. The list goes on. The limited is for sure worth it.
10 days into my 2022 Calligraphy ownership and this video is better than a factory tutorial video from Hyundai. Kudos!

You forgot the all around ambience lighting in the interior doors(you choose the color or put on auto if you want). It looks amazing at night time.
