I've never watched anyone prepare a meal in a tiny house kitchen. The functionality of your tiny space is VERY impresive!! I've seen 2000 sqfoot houses with worse kitchens!! Nice place!!!

From this meatloaf loving lady who has made probably thousands of meatloafs, of every variety, over the last 50 years of cooking that looks like a winner to me!

WoW...As a retired Production Chef of 33 years as of November 15, 2007, I found your meatloaf to be flawless and does deserve a few awards or is at least deserving of a few..hint hint...Being a Chef, when doing 100 to 150 lbs of onions at one time with a Hobart shredder, one will quickly learn to keep one's mouth shut, never opening the mouth once and never shedding one tear. The tear ducks are attacked mainly through the opening of one's mouth, not the eyes or nose as some wives tales have been spread. I am not being negative to your accomplishment of a superb looking dish, just trying to save you some tears in the future when doing onions. I guess you will have to cry when cutting onions on video though. It is very hard to keep ones mouth shut when teaching someone something. A good idea when doing onions though...lol...Take care, hope to see more. You are obviously very talented...

Thank you. I have heard that. But yes, keeping my mouth shut while explain what I am doing is a little challenging. ;)

Much like you, I LOVE onions. To get around the tears, I put on my swimming goggles. I know I look dorky with them while cutting up onions, but I don't shed one tear! :)

When I was a kid I worked at a sandwich shop, "Mr.Submarine". I would slice up at least 20 large onions at a time. The trick to not crying is not to breath it in through your nose. So if you wore small nose plugs, you can put your face right next to the sliced onions and you won't cry at all. Your goggles must have covered your nose.

When I had kids to feed I made meatloaf the same way using wild venison and a self sauce too. It was easy to track down hunters who would help me out. Was always thankful to have those skills and opportunities as a single Mumma. And with a cast iron pan that meat still is the best steak, burgers and meatballs we’ve ever eaten.

In South Louisiana, we put onions in almost everything including eggs for breakfast. When we cube a deer roast, or have some smothered rabbit, we will smother them in onions, bell peppers, and some parsley. Gives the meat a good flavor.

I love your video. Saw how u get water yesterday. When cooking, I feel as I was a guest in your kitchen. Where as the camera is beside u and not just facing the camera, or like a cooking show that is opposite. Beside is very good. Learning is copying, that's best way. How u speak and what ingredients do, their purpose other than taste, and what happens if u choose more or less, and alternatives, to the original recipe. Made my day. I gonna try that one.

During the influenza epidemic in one town 1 household didn't get sick. The doctor asked what they did the mother of the house put a half onion in a jar with holes punched in the lid in each room and changed them when they turned black. The thought was it attracted the germs thus preventing the family from becoming sick.
