    Love it! It's very much like traveling back in time, seeing the furniture and the rusty parts of the ferry. It would be a fun adventure with a few friends along!

    Wow. $97 USD for a shared room on a 20 year old ferry where you need to eat vending machine food? That really was over twice the amount I guessed!

    Great, mysterious travel, Shiba. I'm sorry I am slow with my reply but my mother has been ill and I stay by her side. We spend time watching baseball and the news. And she listens intently as I share different places I have learned about from my new, Japanese friend Shiba. Keep up the great work. Laura from Atlanta.

      The truckers can pay for any berth they like. That they are on the boat to sleep, while making money as small business people-means they take a modest berth.

    Looks like overwhelmingly a trucker's ferry. Not a lot of accommodation, the accommodation it does have are fairly basic couchettes, clearly a huge vehicle deck capable of taking lots of semis etc. The string attaching the chairs in the eating room is a bit ominous in terms of what it says about the roughness of seas on this crossing.....

    車両デッキの火災でクルーの方が無くなった時は心が痛みましたが、無事復活してくれて良かった
    しれとこ/だいせつの2隻体制ですが、なぜか自分が乗るときはほぼ「だいせつ」なんですよね~

    I meant to ask how many cigarettes in a pack. The usual in the US is 20 but when I lived in Australia it was 25 to a pack. I quit a long time ago but those packs looked like 25 to a pack. Can’t figure out the actual cost without that information.

    • @AnotherDoug
      @AnotherDoug 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Based on a box of 120 cigarettes current costing AUD 184 at a large Australia supermarket, a pack of 20 would be AUD30.65 or roughly JPY2915. I'm glad I gave up smoking many years ago

    • @karend9445
      @karend9445 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AnotherDoug Thank you. I also am glad I quit smoking. I remember when my late husband and I lived in Australia for five years cigarettes came 25 to a pack and cost about $3.00AUD a pack. Quite an increase from 1986 to the present. If I still smoked I’d cross into Idaho where they are $6.79 a pack of 20. I live just across the river from Idaho. Five miles to a bridge and across. Because in my state (Washington) they are $10.14USD for a patch of 20. It’s a lot to pay the manufacturers to give people cancer. 🤣🤣
