Mr. Fleming, congratulations on a life well-lived. I have so enjoyed your videos of your amazing adventures and marvel at the polish of them. You make it look easy, and I know it's not. A lot of photography vloggers on TH-cam just do not give straightforward instruction on how they construct their videos as you have done here. Thank you for explaining the process. Your video of you and your mates' 1959 trip across Africa was fantastic, especially considering it was all composed of still photography shots. But you made it look as though you were creating motion by your use of the "Ken Burns" technique throughout the video. It was just so fascinating to see what Africa was like 60 years ago. Thank you again!!

I am astounded at the amount of work you put into your videos. I found your videos a few weeks ago and I am totally hooked. I am glued to the screen watching these and love your narrations. Thank you so much for sharing. I would love to be able to see these places myself but through your videos I feel I have already seen so much. Venture is just beautiful and what a wonderful partner to take you around to so many places safely.

Thank you. As you will know, I left out a lot of details and concentrated on the technical aspect of editing and barely touched on the artistic side. It was the first time I had ever used a web cam or video screen capture. I usually try to avoid appearing in my videos and because I was unfamiliar with the webcam my face was out of focus but I decided I liked it better that way and didn't correct it. It's a great hobby.

Hi Tony, I first discovered your videos on You tube, and have since enjoyed many if not all of them. I am roughly the same age as you and I don't believe I will ever have the opportunity to experience the world as you have. But I can still enjoy it through your videos. This video was very informative on the amount of effort you put into producing each video, and I believe you have been doing this long before digital photography and editing software were popular. Maybe you could do another video on how you got started doing documentaries. I am sure others would be interested in your personal story as well. Thanks for allowing me to see this magnificent world through your eyes. A devoted follower.

86 videos done so professionally with technical asuteness. As I can sit for hours viewing your Alaska videos they must be exquisitely therapeutic! Therefore, I recommend you hire sometone to sell your DVDs to healing centers of all kinds. E.g., hospitals use such videos in their lobbies and fine nature films are viewed in nursing homes and cancer centers.
Anyone who has created excellent films knows the amount of work that entails. Thank you Tony Fleming for sharing.your experiences. I love your audio accompaniment.

I am completely speechless ! I have seen the videos of your travels and always thought you had a professional camera crew on board, since these videos were also (sort of) marketing videos for Fleming.
The eye for the perfect shot or clip, the quality of the combination of all those shots, the narrating, the fitting music etc, in my view that could only have been done by professionals.
To now find out that absolutely everything is done by you is ................I have no words for it.
However it shows again what a person can do when you put your mind to it. Not only did you create the Fleming yachts, the boats we all dream of owning one day, but you also undertook this immense task of producing these videos, while at the same time travelling, working etc.
Thank you so much for showing us in detail how you make your videos and explaining your thought process during the editing. Just like all your travel videos also this one is a piece of art, a quality I have never seen from other TH-camrs.
With so much love and dedication going into the creation of these videos you prove again why your attention to detail and quality shines through in the Fleming yachts. That is what makes them so much loved by so many.

Thank you. Photography and video have long been a hobby of mine. The videos were never made with marketing in mind and it has been both a surprise and a bonus that they have worked out that way. I have always believed that if something

There are a few people in our society who strive to excel in whatever they do. Mr. Fleming, you are quite clearly one of them. While it is abundantly apparent that most persons cannot afford 58, 68 or 78-foot Fleming yachts, the few that can are obviously a discerning lot. For me, such expense is well beyond my means. Nevertheless, your adventures and the work you do, be it running a yacht-building company or a being a tourist who ventures to exotic and distant locations such as the Arctic who then makes these lovely videos, you are the quintessential definition of a gentleman - engineer, architect, artist/artisan, businessperson and renaissance man, all packaged in one. Your care, your focus, your energy, your drive: quite far beyond the ordinary. What lovely contributions, your videos AND your craftsmanship! Thank you from every corner of me. I hope one day I can return the favor.

My heart is on the water, but my circumstances do not allow. Tony, thank you for sharing your storytelling gift so freely, with kind, generous and sincere motives along with teaching ability... all on the foundation of talent, love of nature, and deep respect for our planet. Your works massage the battered heart and feed the hunger that comes from the restrictions and impositions of life in this complicated world. I work with children and my focus is on the trauma many children experience. I create informative videos for them on my iMac... so I really appreciated your succinct and transparent tech how to. My background in photography comes in handy. Nature photography is a strong draw for me. As for your adventures, thank you so much for always making me feel as if I get to go with you. @@FlemingYachts Wow Tony, I really appreciate your kind response. You have quite a robust hobby. Creative projects contribute to the sanity and peace of mind of those who engage in them. Too many people rely on artificial and external constructs for self soothing and inspiration. But there is simply no substitute for being a creator in some form or another. I am an avid (informal) student of neuroscience, but I am not just interested in the effects of trauma on the developing brain, I am also interested the many ways we can teach children to use their own brain as a tool. Similar to sports, both defense and offense are needed where mental and emotional health is concerned. My latest project is involves teaching children how to gain access to the brain state known as “flow”. (First observed and studied in depth by now famous Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi) In sports, this would be known as “The Zone”. The reason I tell you this, is that it is plain to me that you have discovered how to enter into the flow state on purpose -and on command. It is completely obvious to me in your work. And since I have walked in your shoes, creatively speaking (though not as far), and in the pursuit of adventure, (to a much lesser extent), I sense this ability loud and clear in you. I am currently nearing completion of a video production that is designed to teach children about how to do this very same thing. Once it is finished, I will send you the TH-cam link, if you would like. Thank you again Tony for your incredible generosity in sharing such riches with the world. You are one cool dude! -Sabrina E.

I have watched many of your videos, very relaxing and informative, thanks. I have yet to hear you discuss the boat. On one handi like this, but... would like to know more about the craft.

These videos are mostly more about personal journeys than the boat. Much info about the boats can be found by visiting Flemingyachts.com
