Synopsis:
New York is a contemporary story of friendship set against the larger than life backdrop of a city often described as the centre of the world. Omar (Neil Nitin Mukesh) has gone abroad for the first time in his life and soon enough he begins to see and love America through the eyes of his American friends - Sam (John Abraham) and Maya (Katrina Kaif). It is the story of these three friends discovering a new world together.
But one day the world around them changed...
For most of us, larger events in the world are just headlines in the newspapers but these events can change our lives... forever. New York is one such story of 3 young friends whose beautiful lives are turned upside down by larger events beyond their control.
At this point enters Agent Roshan (Irrfan), an FBI undercover agent who sets the ball rolling for a series of tumultuous events that turn the lives of these friends into a dangerous and thrilling roller coaster ride.

it's 3:44am and I don't even know why I am writing this text staring at my ceiling. six-year ago I saw this girl when I was just a 17-year-old teenager. a guy with big dreams came to this huge city in search of his career from a small town. I fell in love the moment I saw her for the first time. she was holding a book and her messy hair. that was the reason I fell in love with her. her simplicity the way she used to come to college without even combing her hair and the way she used to be sleepy in class. her big black eyes, thick eyebrows, and shy nature. trust me I never got enough dare to look straight into her eyes properly. after pinning myself for a month when I officially came to know her name I was the happiest human alive on the earth. I can still remember I used to reach early at college and stand in the corridor just to watch her walk into our class hiding behind the stairway to see the rays of sunlight falling on her damp hair, giving it the deepest shade of auburn. I can still remember how I used to complete all my assignments so that I could give her my notebook and I can still remember all those pens she used to borrow from me and return after biting them hundreds of times. I still have all those pens with her toothmark safe on my shelf. it's not like that I didn't try I tried millions of times to confess to her that this guy is in love with her, and I tried to say to her that she is in my ever first prayer but due to fear of losing friendship I never could confess her my feelings. earlier it was sweet pain to love her but now it's like a disease that is slowly killing me every second. now it's been six years 1 month 18 days since seeing her for the first time still if someone somewhere talks about their crush, I think of her and blush incessantly. I am 22 and now building my career and she is happy somewhere in her own world. I don't know if I will ever get the courage to confess to her or not but I hope someday I will meet her, I don't know how or where but in a busy city like a stranger we will meet again. at that moment she will be there I will be there and our feelings will be our communication❣❣

After 2 and a half year i saw him & i realized that i actually never moved on..still It feels the same ! Also i learned that we can never unlove someone if the love is pure and true. I pray that nobody has to go through this kind of pain.its the worst.
Once my brother introduced me to this song and now he is no more. My brother gave a tough fight to blood cancer but didnt win. This song always remind me of him. Its going to be one month on 31st august💔.
