    We should focus more on *on-shore wind farms* across the coastal regions of Bhārata!🇮🇳

    Things are getting better in India.
    As of July 2022 , 40% of India's electricity come from renewable sources like Wind , Solar and Hydro. Before 2012 less than 15% of electricity came from renewable sources.
    Plus Govt. Of India is adding renewable energy at a rapid pace by building Solar plants, wind energy farms and green hydrogen.

      @Mohan Nair Renewables other hydro power have major fluctuations in the total production capacity. We need to first establish enough hydro and nuclear power plants wherein we can maintain sustained power supply. After this, the excess requirement can be obtained through the mechanisms of solar and wind energy.

    This is a challenging problem but not impossible. The solution is to go for floating offshore - then the only installation is that of mooring cables and power umbilicals. Europe and China have many successful wind farms of this nature. With such a long coastline, India is sitting on a gold mine of energy. It would be a criminal waste not to tap into it. Can solve power problems, generate employment all in an environmentally sustainable manner.

    • @hrushikeshavachat900
      @hrushikeshavachat900 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      One more way can be instead of going floating, we can go for fixed wing turbines. These can be combined with turbine based (not dam-based) tidal energy to increase production capacity without a major increase in costs.

      @@hrushikeshavachat900 Fixed platforms will become expensive if water depth increases.

      @qwertyman9560 Yes. They cam. But as I am harnessing double the power (tidal and wind) it may end up being cheaper on per unit basis in long run.

    what he said was true but it has solutions, but what about Denmark in offshore wind its maximum energy from offshore they are the world leaders currently and found out many solutions. Recently govt of india made some agrements for offshore wind generation with denmark. And moreover, Student in renewable energy systems in germany I visited many number of offshore plants and studied as well but wind energy required huge amount of investments only problem with the intrest of government. Many countries are given huge tax exemption and attrative price for generation of clean energy. As for Germany, government gave 20 years of support the generation of clean energy apart for the market rate but as for India this is not possible because of finance issue. Lets be optimastic and government should give better assurance for the investors.

      my dear ! in energy terms - Each Hydrogen molecule will produce only as much energy when burnt or used in a fuel cell ; as it consumes to be separation from Oxygen ( in water molecules ).
      even if all the processes are 100 % efficient - there is no net gain of energy !
      Electric energy is consumed to produce chemical energy & then either 1) heat (if burnt) or
      2) electricity (fuel cell )
      are produced.
