yes they are a Christian band and everybody can claim that. I've been following them for years and this video makes me creep. There is something with this video. As a Christian you can discern which is from God and from the enemy. There's no note for Christian music either solemn or rock. But this video, there's something about it. May God gives us all discernment which is from Him and from the devil

When Saw Red one year they opened by flipping a switchbox which made a loud bang I knew it ws gonna happen (I volunteered at the show and saw it backstage) and that whole place got scared as heck!
That part was cool but it scared me and made me jump every time they did it

You are correct. They use a lot of backing tracks live to keep the sound full, but he's singing live. Also notice he's not playing the bass, yet you hear one. They do a lot to keep the sound rich and to keep it from lacking in a live performance.
@@dannyanghis9087 ive actually seen them live several times. you hear a bass bc his guitar tech is playing offstage. one of the shows i went to you could see him. its just like when jen ledger gets off the drums to sing and her drum tech plays.
Yea, they’ve always done the studio backing/harmony vocals with the live, however people who are saying this is lip synced are clueless, 1 his voice isn’t as raspy as the studio version, and 2 this song doesn’t have as much backing vocals as their older stuff

@0:28 you can see John on the riser behind Jen's drum set. Also notice that his pants do not have holes in the knees on stage but they have holes when he comes down on the wires. His face is also washed out with lights so you can't clearly see his face. Great opening of show as they always do.
