Using a P320X5 Legion with a Grayguns competition: Hybrid shoe trigger kit, and a Romeo 2. I shot this whole match with the dot occluded.
Day 1 performance was excellent in my estimation, I built a 60 point lead over Nils in 10 stages.
Day 2 on we started on some faster paced stages and I had to feel out the gas and brakes a bit more carefully. I didn’t want to just take it easy for the second whole half, I wanted to continue to build my lead and push on low risk sections. A few stages that morning I shot more than the acceptable quota of non-alphas. Ultimately I was able to lock it in and shoot clean that afternoon to maintain a 65 point lead by the end of the match.
Congrats to all the winners, thank you to all the match organizers and staff!
This is my 3rd year attending the match, it is consistently one of the best matches/events/experiences of the year. Strongly recommend attending in 2024 if you can take the time.

So many to like. Stage 2 was my favorite. “3% better every year.” Sit down everyone, it’s happening.

I thought you had said you were shooting the romeo 3 xl/max. I may have missed it but could you talk about the romeo 2 vs 3xl/max. Honestly, I don't trust most gun toobers when it comes to competition gear. Im a PROD shooter(for now) but id like to get a dot this year and practice occluded. Im using a X5 legion FWIW. Thanks for the content man this is great to watch for education.

@@masonlane2030 is it something you'd practice or was it a "use the Force" moment

To specifically not look is not the goal necessarily, but I’ve trained extensively to look at the place I’m headed and allow the reload to happen in its own time in a manner that will rarely miss. So long as you get a good grip on the mag, almost anyone can complete a reload blindfolded without a tight time limit, that’s essentially what I’m doing in that case

@@masonlane2030 Thanks. your reloads were lightning fast and perfect in general, very rare to see in actual match conditions when you're throwing in movement as well
