I don't know why some people would give you guys a thumbs down, I find your videos very educational and interesting . A lot off young guys your age are out there breaking the law and you two are doing something good by digging these relics for people to see and learn from. Thank you
10:37.....this came from a shutter on the side of the house. They were decorative, and the chances are good you will find more. Even complete ones! Good find, dudes!
Excellent live video Michael! every one is getting better! You have the art of keeping the viewers interest with your live presentation! Keep on doing the same and adding the live aspect of the dig!
i already replied to this.. the crawlspace we were diggin under used to be apart of the yard 100 plus years ago.. so anything soliders or people lost is now under this edition of the house.. they must of dropped them in that small area..
that crawl space used to be apart of the yard. and later on in the 1940s they added on to the house and covered up the yard. Then recently the owner replaced all the studs under that section of the house and put light bulbs in.
The brass washer you found is pretty much what you said it was. back in those times, and even nowadays, straps and corners of leather pouches, haversacks etc. were either held together with rivets and washers, or the corners and key stress points riveted to reinforce it. I still use that very type of rivet in leatherwork today. Awesome vid!!!
+nuggetnoggin I actually love your videos and I find the stuff uou have found ... amazing. But how can you laugh at your disgusting friends racist attitude. Children watch your videos.
Its amazing how those Stinkin' Lincoln's get around, I found a modern Coke can 12 inches down under the root of a real old tree, I dug it cause it sounded good, and I thought ''something this far down has got to be old'' but it wasn't. Good Video Mike!
With all them civil war bullets you guys pulled out of there it must have been some sort of camp. I am really surprised you did not find more civil war coins. I guess them soldier's where pretty dang poor.
That circle tag you found looks like a miners tag, I find them all the time. They were circle tags with an ID number tapped into them and miners would clip them to the carts they filled before sending them out of the mine. It let the owner keep track of how many carts full each person was mining, and allowed the miners to claim their work.
Great thanks I saw a video on the Nokta pinpoint the garrett is the choice of most Im gonna get one or the other this will be first one I own I have a Fisher 1266x great detector but when I got my minelab explorer 2 great detector but pinpoint is a bit harder need a probe with it. thanks for reply and I enjoy your videos
Mines grey on the top, has a round black search coil on the bottom. I think i managed to track it down to the 50's - 60's. it was my uncles before I got it so I cant tell you exactly when.
I would think that soldiers being taken to a field hospital might have still had their cartidge box still with them hence the number of undamaged bullets. Some were damaged so those might have been removed from patients. An an amazing concentration of artifacts.
Love you guy's! So happy I found your Chanel. I have a question about digging around an old houses foundation. Do you think it is harmful to the stability of the house and do you put the dug dirt back and compact it? I really don't know anything about this but it did occur to me that it might affect the foundations stability. Big thumbs up! Really have enjoyed all videos I've watched so far.
I just recently started metal detecting and I love your videos, they give me such great ideas on where to look for stuff. Sometimes it's really discouraging, not finding anything but trash all day, but when I watch your videos it makes me eager to get back out there again. I was wondering, do you have any pointers on staying out of poison ivy? I know what it looks like but it always seems to get me. Especially in the early spring before theres any leaves on the trees, I even manage to get it then. I think I might be digging into the roots or something. Any ideas?
Just in case you dint know yet, the coin you found with a hole through it was a penny, they used to keep pennies around their necks in case they needed to buy something.
That hook like thing you found is actually a hook they would put in the fire place and hang a pot of water or food over the fire to distil the water or cook something.
Kaitlyn Zavitz It looks more like the thing you would turn to hold open a shutter on the outside of a house. That's what the hole in it is for, so it would turn on a nail or whatever.
during the civil war the parents of the soldier gave them a penny with a hole in it to wear around their neck i forget the name of it but it was given to them if they were ever lost so they could buy food and drink
LOL! "Hey Massa, I done worked me up a powerful thirst down hea in dis hea diggin hole, I was wondrin ifin youse might see fit ta givin me a drink a wauta, I's be much obliged sir!" LOL!
It's a bullet, oh wait... it's a bullet. Hey I found something, it's a bullet. There's something else over here, it's a bullet. I would have left after the 500th bullet.
I don't know why some people would give you guys a thumbs down, I find your videos very educational and interesting . A lot off young guys your age are out there breaking the law and you two are doing something good by digging these relics for people to see and learn from. Thank you
i'm making that video right now.. it will be up sometime late tonite.
10:37.....this came from a shutter on the side of the house. They were decorative, and the chances are good you will find more. Even complete ones! Good find, dudes!
That is a Garrett Pro-Pointer. they go for about 127 new.. well worth the investment,, without one it takes forever to find the relics.
Excellent live video Michael! every one is getting better! You have the art of keeping the viewers interest with your live presentation! Keep on doing the same and adding the live aspect of the dig!

Thats a cool indian head penny nugget,I have never found an indian head penny but it would be cool to!
Does your Jetco Mustang have a square coil? That was my first metal detector back in around 1973 or so. Is it blue?
I would think that soldiers being taken to a field hospital might have still had their cartidge box still with them hence the number of undamaged bullets. Some were damaged so those might have been removed from patients. An an amazing concentration of artifacts.
was there a battle near the house? or campsight or both?
at 6:30 to the right of the bullet in your hand, i swear i saw an arrow head for a second haha
Sick! Part 3?
Was that last thing you found really a ring? Do you have a picture of it cleaned up? Cool!
Nugget
For your adventurer, I recommend you to use another camcorder - CountourRoam. I bought one and it is amazing.
Congratssss

Love you guy's! So happy I found your Chanel. I have a question about digging around an old houses foundation. I wonder if that "hangy thing" you found was used to hold a pot over a fire or something like that.
What do you guys do with all your relics??? Great vid!!

What is that little round detector, hand held circle! I really like that! Wonder if that is something that can be purchased on line.
CL Torpey it's just the small coil he took loose from his metal detector.
Oh...chuckles....I see, thank-you :)
Just in case you dint know yet, the coin you found with a hole through it was a penny, they used to keep pennies around their necks in case they needed to buy something.
Wow...what year was the indian head? very curious
yup thats true.. lol . one reason why i don't have one.
what detector do you have?
Hay nugget are all seated quarters silver. I found something that came up a quarter on my whites. Just trying to find out what it is.
Cary Katzenberger Hay's for horses. It's "hey".
Omg a clay marble! Those babies are bread and butter finds
Hey I am serious how did all the bullets get in one small place do you know the answer?
That hook like thing you found is actually a hook they would put in the fire place and hang a pot of water or food over the fire to distil the water or cook something.
Kaitlyn Zavitz It looks more like the thing you would turn to hold open a shutter on the outside of a house. That's what the hole in it is for, so it would turn on a nail or whatever.
What do you like to use best..the AT Pro or the ACE 400? Is the ACE 400 completely submersible like The AT Pro?
janine lazier The coil on a Ace 400 is water proof but the control housing is not.
How much bullets did you guys find?
His tackle box says "Relics" inside the lid XD
I thought the old german mouser you found was awesome
haha yea..
Omg you can be rich for all that not everyone can find cools stuff like that you are lucky
Love you
Why did they carve them I wonder?
during the civil war the parents of the soldier gave them a penny with a hole in it to wear around their neck i forget the name of it but it was given to them if they were ever lost so they could buy food and drink
1880 i think
Good thing those bulbs weren't the new fluorescent bulbs, you guys would be evacuating all the time.
Is this what you do for a living? Is it a supportable hobby?
loved the politically incorrect ending.
Okay how did all these bullets get in that tiny basement? Not all that room for actual shooting at each other? Don
Who is the dead body under the black plastic?
LOL! "Hey Massa, I done worked me up a powerful thirst down hea in dis hea diggin hole, I was wondrin ifin youse might see fit ta givin me a drink a wauta, I's be much obliged sir!" LOL!

Dat ending.
It's a bullet, oh wait... it's a bullet. Hey I found something, it's a bullet. There's something else over here, it's a bullet. I would have left after the 500th bullet.
the lead would be worth something i guess.
By the time y'all finish digging out,y'all be dug the owner a basement...
I hate it how you cant comment on older comments now...
Do you work with this or is it just a hobby? I swear I want to do this since I was a child, man
Imagine if they buried amputated body parts there, and you dug up some bones?
LOL
Did you ever find out what the thing was at 00:21?
Poor guys house foundation is gonna collapse next time it rains
What do you mean a bullet was "carved"?
cal30m1 It means a soldier carved on the bullet with a knife to pass the time
where is part 3?
Using a sieve is just good archeology. I hate seeing people use a metal detector on sites this important!
Archeologists use metals detectors. As long as you know how to properly remove the object from the Earth then it's a valuable tool.
aww man wish i could join yall im a kid lol 15
You gonna have ghosts haunting you for diggin up those death relics
Funny how life screws with our personal lives isn't it! You can't have total freedom with a GF hanging around! Will have to give that one up! LOL!!!
I saw a bullet in the screen he dumped out.
