Your passion for finding artifacts from the past is contagious! That skeleton key is just so beautiful. You guys are absolutely amazing! Thanks for taking me along on an awesome adventure. Be safe!
LOVE your videos!!! We have a historic home in Louisville KY built around 1830 and find relics ALL THE TIME as in a 1902 silver nickel fell from ceiling last month and an 1874 indian head was just on top of grass last weekend... PRE CIVIL WAR grounds in flood plane... Want to come here??? have not had time to dig, have two lots and cellar!!!
It really is kind of neat that you guys are laying hands on stuff that was last touched by somebody who [presumably] lived in the 1860's. That skeleton key and ink well were the neatest....ESPECIALLY that skeleton key! Makes one wonder what exactly it opened or might still open. Great job!!! :)
yup,, seems like everyone gets good ideas from me. lol i figured people dug under crawl spaces all the time . i guess not. maybe im just the only one crazy enough to do it.
I live in Morgantown, West Virginia. I have to do some research first. I don't know of any good detections spots yet. I'm really excited because today in my neighbors yard, I found a pair of old glasses!
I love watching your videos! Metal detecting is so much fun to me. You find some awesome stuff! All I've ever found is old nails.... I think it would be really cool to go detecting with you!
My brother, who just started detecting recently, has already found a ten dollar gold piece, and five dollar gold piece! Can you believe that? He found them in anchorage Alaska in an old alleyway. I've been detecting for 10 years and havnt hit the gold coin yet. ahaha Oh well, I have found some nice nuggets, but Iknow my gold coin is just one lucky swing away! Cool hunt noggin! There is no limit to what you might find under there! I want to go up to Virginia city and give it a look. cheers!
Did they really put the lights in just for you guys? If so you should feel very special. I know your a special young man, but these people must also think so. Really nice hunt can't wait to see the rest.
Your videos are great! I've been laughing at some comments, I notice how girls openly seem to go after you, lol. It's your constant and positive attitude that makes people want to "hunt" with you (nudge nudge wink wink) and "hang out" lol. They just want to spend time with you, but it's understandable, you're a cutie and your videos do leave people feeling positive and happy too. Brooke. I enjoy yours over most others on youtube. Happy hunting!
While back i had a tornado shelter put in my backyard and dug it in about 4 1/2 feet and 4' down i found an unbroken old drinking glass/jar. If the tractor would have been a quarter inch more over it would have broke. Anywhere for me to be able to look and see how old it is?
I know how you feel. I was underneath my porch in Febuary for three hours, killed my back. My dumbass built a two by two strainer, way to big. Thx for the video; love the brass key, awesome.
Why dont you use a big neodymiun magnet for catching all the bad iron stuff ?? It would make things a lot easier and sorry if you do it with one. im quite new to your channel
Great video . You and Chris are finding some awesome relics. the bottles , ink well, bullets, musket hammer . Awesome. What is the name of Chris's channel ?
I just KNOW you boys are going to clean up that inkwell and bottle back to pristine condition now, aren't you?? Excellent vid as usual, per Nuggetnoggin standards. You planning another middle of the river gold panning vid by any chance?
everyone wants to go detecting with me, haha if any of yal have a good spot, i would be more than happy to come dig it with ya lol. if its no more than 400 mile radius..
Oh...to be young and thin again like you! LOL! When you are 50 years old, you will not last 30 minutes under there before your body will nag at you. I used to be able to twist and bend like a pretzel. Enjoy it while you are young! Very interesting video guys!
