Absolutely classic drum intro and thanks to channel member Philip for the great suggestion - hope this is useful! Original here: th-cam.com/video/m3Kkvwyyf2c/w-d-xo.html Notation here (channel members): www.buymeacoffee.com/mikebarnesdrums/notation-for-only-fools-and-horses-god-bless-hooky-street-drum-intro My vid about drags: th-cam.com/video/5gAwg1yD5jg/w-d-xo.html My vid about basic bass drum variations in grooves - Grade 1 and 2 level: th-cam.com/video/jQAlkZ1XmSM/w-d-xo.html As I said in the vid, beat 4 of the first bar could be played as a drag or a four-stroke ruff. I used Mike Johnston’s amazing “Groovescribe” to notate this, and there isn’t a notation for drags or ruff, so I’ve used the one for a flam here instead. Please take care though to play this as a drag or ruff, as described in the video :) Mike Please check out my “Buy Me A Coffee" page here: www.buymeacoffee.com/mikebarnesdrums, where you can support this channel/sign up as a monthly member. Finally got that drag, thank goodness. :) You're doing it with your left stick, then back to the left for the AND after the 4. Your 1 minute lesson on the drag really helped as I didn't realise you loosen the grip and let it double-bounce to do the drag. Thank you! :)
Mike you're by far the best drum lesson channel on youtube, well explained and straight to the point. I'm working my way through trinity 5+ 6 and your vids are a god send.
thanks so much, i've always wanted to know how to play that! speaking of love shack, would you be able to do a video on that song sometime? :D thanks for the great content as always, really easy to understand for a beginner

Thanks for this Mike, We love Only fools and horses, one of the best British comedies! As a band we play 2468 from the Jolly Boys Outing...
