Suzuki does have a butter smooth engine... but what bajaj offers is more than enough for General Useage (even some Rough Useage) N250 is updated and a VFM option... and is like 30-40k cheaper than Gixxer yet gets more features
N 250 is a million times better eg. It has usd forks, all led around, much better projector lamp, better more rigid chassis with twin down tubes, slipper clutch, traction control and so on that too at a very reasonable price... The only saving grace to the gixxer is the engine which is better.

I cant give two shits if it is USD if not doing its job well . gixxer 250s "simple yet effective" at all fronts. new pulsar 250 unstable at triple digit speeds , meanwhile gixxer is rock solid till top speed you know why? 40mm fork with inpeccable rear suspension and super rigid chassis. at this point just go for ns or honda cb300f if you care so much about VFM and safety.

it is sohc with shim type valve like a dohc. its very unique engine cam. end of the day yes it is sohc.
