I have been following your footage from the beginning. I use the videos as a lesson on Eminent Domain and 5th amendment principles. Your videos have been a wonderful aid to offer the students a visual perspective of the progress of the Centennial Corridor. I start with the city video of the bare ground after demolition and have been following the progression through completion. Your videos have helped my students better understand what is going on in their town! Thank you.

Dylan, a great series. Those neighborhoods you mentioned I can remember when there was nothing there. California Ave ended at Real Rd. It was extended to Stockdale Hwy in 1970. I'm 70 years of age and remember freeways, 99, 178 & 58 being built. I took still photos of the work on Hwy 58 between Hwy 99 & S Chester Ave from 1974-1976. Bill formally from Bakersfield.
I've been following this for the last couple years, quite an undertaking. Something along the same type of video is a live stream of the Army Corps of Engineers building a new 1200-foot lock in Sault Ste. Marie Michigan connecting Lake Superior and Lake Huron. Started in 2019, it is projected to take up to 10 years to complete. Just google Soo locks.
Great job on the series Ive been watching them for a while. I'm just wondering are they going to make a ramp from East bound 58 to North bound 99 and from South bound 99 to East bound 58 if not it's still going to be jammed from 99 to 58 and 58 to 99 on Rosedale highway and Mohawk
Maybe once I-40 and I-7 (or I-9) are signed, maybe California 178 will become an I-x40, I-x07, or I-x09. Maybe California 223 would be rebuilt into Interstate 240.
I enjoying capturing sunsets, too 😊 Is there any suggestions for additional content you would like to see? Maybe in a few months i'll put together a compilation video of this project, starting back from the first video I captured thru til the finish.
@@TheHeightenedPerspective Where do you like to go? Your drone videos are better than windshield videos but windshield videos are good. Kern Canyon is very scenic. White Wolf Grade east out of Arvin is great when the wild flowers are blooming.
@@TheHeightenedPerspective There is Rattlesnake Grade and the Sheep Trail from Arvin to Stallion Springs. Also the Old Ridge Route if they will let you on it. And the road to Pyles Camp.

Construction of that loop ramp from eastbound 58 to northbound 99 will start this summer
How can it be complete if i can not connect to Ming Ave coming from 58 East? I do not like having to exit off at White Ln.
