Do you have some knowledge on how many ppl play Priest class? While I do understand that Fungal was completely broken, and same for lumi and vesture, those 3 nerfs combined impacts Priest class the most. As a main priest player I either use fungal priest to heal the group or the lumi-scripture-vesture combo to do dmg. If there are a lot of ppl playing priest right now then I have nothing to say about the nerfs, but if that's not the case, then I feel that maybe Deca should've buffed some other aspect of Priest to make up for those nerfs (e.g. Priest speed, their att/dex stats, etc). This is b/c i've noticed that many ppl scoff at playing priest since it's not a great dps class. Unlike Knights, for whom cshield nerf only impacts cshield knights while leaving untouched the majority of knight players who play it for the stun or high defence stats, the 3 nerfs impacting Priest impacts almost everyone who plays priest a lot. It just feels like a nerf to the Priest class as a whole, and with the dismissive attitude I've personally seen towards Priests in the game, I don't think that's a good thing even if a nerf to fungal and lumi were needed for overall balancing.
Basically all the debuffs that affect stats negatively like dazed or slower simply set your stat to 0 basically making you a lvl 1 in that stat, so a class with 75 speed getting -50 is still 25 speed
So, what would happen if you get BOTH slowed and -50 spd from cloak? will it make you go backwards or slowed aka Spd = 0 overrides all other buffs/debuffs.
First off, multi hit on Saint Abraham, creamy, since I like ascetic fitting sets, and the wand was the huge put off for me. Also that fairy ring, and woodland robe buff, actually great, the robe was a huge joke.
All of these are mostly good changes, I think that a class that is in a very weird spot right now is actually trickster, It's suffering from the same design constraints as cshield in a way, the entirety of shatters and steamworks are completely immune to decoys, and while it IS still useful for o3 in some of it's phases, It's damage is honestly just really lacking and i'd rather play kensei in almost every other situation when it comes to rushing for the invuln you get on the dashes + the damage multipliers, I do think teleport is mostly fine and can stay unchanged, but i think a major decoy rework is necessary, possibly even more than a rogue rework as rogue is pretty much a solo player's dream class and fulfills that niche just fine in o3 and shatters...apart from the abysmal damage
Y'know you bring up some good points, people never really think about good ole trixter struggling due to them being on top for so long back in the day. I feel like dagger buffs are probably needed in general.
@@BBSmooth I think an easy fix to tricksters would be to give prisms HP bars, scaling up with higher tiers, give them like a blanket 4 second duration and a 5.5 or 6 second cooldown, but keep the cooldown on teleporting at 0, they already have the technology to do that with the earthen summoner ST and the summons having hp bars, that way decoys could be used to block a few shots from some bosses, but wouldn't be able to be spammed constantly to trivialize fights, the only issue with my suggestion is stacking tricksters to keep a boss perma decoyed, which i fear might be a thing, You are right though, An across the board dagger buff would be really nice, they are just in a very weird spot where avarice legit is no where NEAR the same league as superior/lumi/div/enforcer/warmonger, and the other 2 best dps daggers, cutter and cdirk, have comparable range to a colo sword and no where near the amount of damage
Is Cshield broken? Yes. Was Cshield bad for the game? Yes. Despite these facts Cshield is still the most fun I have had in this game with E.Y.E and I will am a bit mixed to see it go.
nordic knight got a pretty good buff with most of the gear getting a bump, I could see the crystal bone ring getting crazy if you use an item the buffs your att speed. that staff that gives you 160% fire rate. your dps dies some but a wizard with it could then spam spell bombs. or archer using that cross bow for 200% fire rate could start to spam their quiver, (the javelin having a cool down blocks it from being spammed) overall im happy with it, clad C shield is nerfed. it looks like fun if some skill nd thought is used when playing it. its like jugg for knights lol

I don't understand the point of ruining Cshield, it was a fun and risky weapon precisely for its feature of invul, which was perfectly balanced on the fact that if you got quieted or silence it stopped working.

If the duration is too much, cap the duration. It's an extremely fun gimmick item that is usable in end game dungeons, taking away its' utility and turning it into armored is the worst thing they could do. At least jugg gives armored to a class that can utilize it with their insane dps to boot, knight giving himself armored and NOTHING else is completely worthless.
It goes back to the idea that the item's existence was impacting future boss fights and design choices. Invulnerability is incredibly strong as it is. But the Invulnerability from c shield was found to be waaay too strong and game defining.
