this happens when there is a space between the emoji and the role! please follow my tutorial carefully, a small mistake can already lead to errors

*NOTE- Emoji needs to be like :smile: and not :D and role needs to be mentioned by @role"

Roles using Carl bot still works for me perfectly. I am pretty sure that you made a small mistake somewhere but I can't tell exactly as I don't know what you typed.

Every time I keep doing the “?rr addmany” thing and putting the id it keeps saying “Could not find a message with that ID, make sure you copied the right thing.” And I did copy the right thing could you help me?
make sure carl bot has permission to be in that channel

it doesn't work it just tell me "The role *role i wanted to put*(pos 50) is above my highest role 'carl-bot' (pos 10) meaning I cannot hand it out.

hi! to fix this go to server settings > roles and move carl bot role above all the other reaction roles and it should work

@@randomgirl7434 if you're on pc just click on the carl bot role, hold left mouse button and drag it up. if you're on phone it should say "reorder" on the right corner. tap on it and move carl bot up

for some reason the emojis work even if it's not a default discord emoji but the roles don't work? but carl bot is above the roles and he has the admin permission. did i do anything wrong?

I have a question. When I try to switch where the roles goes to a specific channel after I've already made it, it's not working. For example, I first did the ?rr addmany on testing channel (which it worked) but then i tried to do the same thing and add it on roles channel, which is having a hard time to cooperate with. If you have answers, please respond to me.
this is strange. have you checked if carl has correct perms in that channel? there's also a carl bot documentation in the description box ,maybe it'll help you!
@@lenility thankfully it worked by deleting the roles and re-adding them again. Do you know how you make the reaction only so that the people that are reacting are only able to react the #s only? because somehow they're reacting with other emojis as well. And thank you so much for the reply! Or when i added roles for a specific category like zodiac signs, it says "failed to react with a, a, a, a, a, a. They still work but you have to react manually." I'm quite confused
@@icelove6884 edit channel permissions and set "add reactions" to false for @ everyone role.
for the zodiac roles, use ?rr fixforeign and react to the message with emojis. (carl will react to the message as well, after u reacted to them)

Alright, my question is, how when you go so long without messaging, your name will appear along with the time which breaks up the cohesion, so is there a way I can work on my text and copy pasting everything without having to rush or do I just have to be quick? Thanks
I don't think there's a way. You need to be quick :) After 10-15 mins your name would break the cohesion

what font did you use for your server for the server emojis?
I want to use the cute letter / emojis like yours, i’m assuming they’re just letters with vector background but then people who use light mode (god forbid) won’t see those letters?
i'm not sure what you mean but the letters are transparent, they don't have a background. light mode users can also see those, except if the letters are white which i don't recommend

It seems like the reaction role is bugging using mobile.. whenever I press the reaction using my phone it keeps resetting doesn't apply the role i chose imao. Any idea how to fix it?
