Hi everyone! Another family trip to a gorgeous area. I love gardens and plants being able to grow naturally. Mmm, the shrimp looks very plump and juicy. Nothing like a warm meal on a chilly afternoon. I'm always amazed at how far and long you can ride your bike. You ride farther than I drive most days. Great video!

Or Wednesday night if you’re still up :) always a pleasure when I get to see one of the very first comments is from you, I hope my message back finds you well :-) I am smiling about the distance on the bicycle, thank you for the compliment, but I do also appreciate that myself. If it was 100 km in the car I would probably get bored, probably end up quitting whatever it was that was forcing me to drive that far, just being honest and that’s one reason why I respect you so much by the way, you have patience to do what you want to do even if it means huge car drives… But on the bike it’s somehow different, because all along the way it can be fun as well. OK, I know some people do love driving in the car but, for me on the bike it’s just so much easier to let kilometers pass by and suddenly, “oh we’re here!!”
And! Just curious, are there any flowers that still survive in North Carolina through the winter? Any brightly colored stuff to see, maybe even the green of evergreen trees?

I am recuperating from Covid Pneumonia..it was beginning but I was hospitalized for a week N a half. I'm so much better now..day by day..It's a privilege to be well . I'm on oxygen for a little more maybe less than a week. I would wake up eat breakfast and put on a video of you guys lol. I'm back doing so. It’s strange to see the ornamental cabbages in their full glory in February - they’re fall blooming for us in North America. Those trees blossoming makes me think of our spring time cherry blossoms 🌸 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸☀️ ☀️☀️☀️🌦🌦🌦🌦
February is autumn there. The climate is different and a bit unusual. After the rain season from June to November follows winter (Dec & Jan) and then autumn. In April and May it will be summer. I took some wonderful autumn photos in February 2014 on Doi Inthanon and in nearby Mae Hong Son province.

The largest sturgeon caught in my neck of the woods ( ie British Columbia ) was 352 cm ( 11 ft 6 inches) and 890 lbs but they can get up to 6 metres long and 635kgs

It’s strange to see the ornamental cabbages in their full glory in February - they’re fall blooming for us in North America. Those trees blossoming makes me think of our spring time cherry blossoms 🌸 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸☀️ ☀️☀️☀️🌦🌦🌦🌦
February is autumn there. The climate is different and a bit unusual. After the rain season from June to November follows winter (Dec & Jan) and then autumn. In April and May it will be summer.
I took some wonderful autumn photos in February 2014 on Doi Inthanon and in nearby Mae Hong Son province.
@@Robert_Hermigua Thanks for the info & the reminder Robert - the first third of my life was in the tropics on a similar seasonal clock as Thailand but having adapted to a North American seasonal clock it’s a little odd seeing a typical October scene in glorious bloom in February … at the same time as the spring flowering blossoms. The largest sturgeon caught in my neck of the woods ( ie British Columbia ) was 352 cm ( 11 ft 6 inches) and 890 lbs but they can get up to 6 metres long and 635kgs
