Early Morning Ride - Exploring the Saih Al Arab Dunes

The group got ready at 6 AM, bright and early to make the most of the day‘s beautiful Morning. Once the camels were assigned, the 7 riders took off, straight towards the sands, with hot air balloons in the background. Following the meandering valleys of dunes, the camels marched gently ahead, some more eager to stay on track than others. Crossing through the desert requires the riders to sit well, have balance and respond to steep inclines and drops sometimes. With no road to stay on, the group gained a sense of freedom, making their own path.
At the half way point, a delicious Emirati breakfast awaited the riders, set up overlooking the desert stretched out in front.
While our camels waited patiently, other curious camel cows with their young ones doted the dunes around us, taking notice.
After karak, balalait, khameer and some moments with the camels, it was time to head back before the sun would climb too high.
We reached the edge of the desert with all camels being led by their riders alone, what an achievement.
