Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Twinbee 3: Poko Poko Daimao for Famicom Disk System developed and published by Konami.
Moero Twinbee tried a lot of things. Some of them, like tracking down your "ghost" ship to reclaim all your weapons after a crash, worked and worked well. Some of them, like the horizontal-scrolling stages, certainly did not. Twinbee 3 comes back to the series' roots, by using exclusively vertical-scrolling stages and tuning the gameplay to be stranger, more intense, and more consistently paced than its previous outing.
This video review features video gameplay footage of Twinbee 3: Poko Poko Daimao for Famicom Disk System and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
Fuck yeah, Nannerpuss.
You have to try Poppin' Twin Bee, for the Super Nes, and I remember that main music track in the vid from Stinger, The US name for Twin Bee.
