@silentchief2240 please do this 😂 or like kick and pistols only or something like that. I get the feeling kick only may not be viable especially for boss fights...
Man pretty cool videos, I'm new to AC and my interest was for mostly for the fires of Rubicon, but now that i found you and this build videos I see older AC games are truly INSANE, hope I could play them whiteout jumping all the emulator gimmicks...
ps2 gen my fav btw, im a ac2 and ac3 guy... however i am ecstatic for ac6 as well. if u find a working ps2, ur golden. sadly, my ps2 died a day b4 ac6 was announced
0:18 which is true but for ONLY the games where the hanger unit exists as a back up weapon system. The games start from Nexus to For Answer. In AC1 through Silent Line and AC5 to surely AC6, the handguns did not exist as merely the underpowered backup weapons they were nerfed into the ground to be. They were a menace, even though not very powerful still. They're super comparable to rifles. Lightweight, high impact (usually enough to stun most non-heavy builds), shoot fast, cause high heat in games where it is relevant, but always had less ammo than rifles tend to have.
I made a infinite overboost build designed to just keep dodging and whittling opponents down with machine guns, honestly after a while the game begins to break and cause my AC's torso to twist off and cause white glints wings to become nothing but light, very interesting
The one hangar weapon I've found to be useful is the blade; it's useful for missions where you want other weapons to start with, but you still have a blade for taking out really tanky targets later in the mission (like generic arms forts). It's less necessary in For Answer compared to AC4, but the concept of hangar weapons makes more sense if you're designing a NEXT for a campaign rather than each individual mission (kind of like how White Glint would probably want to use a different loadout for taking on unique Arms Forts rather than sticking to a versatile loadout that works best for taking out NEXTs or Normals).
5:06 Damn dude Otdzdarva has 3 different things he can say after the end of this mission. I recently discovered some allies will say different things at the end of missions depending if you are low health or not, but damn now I gotta test to see if allies say anything different if you let them do all the work.
got into AC with For Answer not to long ago and these videos are super entertaining. some of the edited in memes were hilarious like at 0:19 and 2:18, did you edit them yourself or is there somewhere i can find more like them lmao
Agreed 😂 I really wanna get some advice from vets for cool skill based builds I can try out. Still only on my first run of AC4FA so I haven't unlocked a whole lot of stuff yet, I just got the karasawa and that thing slaps even tho I heard they nerfed it in AC4
Love your work Silent, entertaining as all hell as per usual =^.^= I'm still fairly new with AC, nearly finished my first run of AC:4FA and been bouncing around the older games and having an absolute blast but my skill level and experience is nowhere near what you and other veterans can achieve(hadnt even heard of the guayoudette or whatever its called for example, definitely couldve used that for my first motherwill fight >.> i came back later with some frs and a much better NEXT and melted it on hard tho >:D). That being said I haven't unlocked jack shit yet bc I haven't even finished my first run lol but I've been having hella fun experimenting with different setups. I haven't done anything too drastic though. I prefer skill based setups(using machine gun cheese is fun for like a mission or two but got super old for me super fast) so if anyone has some cool suggestions for wild skill based builds I'm all ears!!! That should help me improve my piloting abilities too and I love trying out new things :3
For a more skill based build you can run Shotguns, laser blades with reverse joint legs so that the swing animation is harder to land, you can go a sniper build use the sniper canons which are really good btw. You can try your hand at the kojima cannons for a one shot build, or a missile build and learn how to missile joust 👍
You can also use the normal blades and try to bait a close range AC into running into the hotbox. Blade hotboxes linger for a really long time so if you can get good at baiting the ACs it should be pretty easy. Personally I've never done it I just know you can do that
The slapadoodle pea shooter goofy ah build, until you realize those things actually pack a punch if you manage to stay on the target, well, they pack a punch for 5 seconds lol
*clap* I mean, you did it. :D ACFA shouldcouldawoulda have had spare ammo packs or something, some of the ammo counts are dumb, not like it matters if pistol would carry 300 rounds or 80.
You say Obscure but Last Raven fans HATE Pistols, they are the bane of PvP format where Hangar Weapons are allowed and are also great in general for Hangar builds for carrying 4 Main Weapons Extremely light, Deals decent chunk of damage, and somehow also has decent Ammo and Shot Speed
i got an idea of a build vid... Kojima Blades :) they something i found difficult to use due to their mechanics... granted im bad with physical blades lol. still would love to see it done with a few memes
Blades are the artistic/mechanical peak of ACFA. Melee has innate combo system that also works as extra boost dodges. Best weapons in the game are actually melee, Moonlight blade from souls is here and it's a ng+ reward for arteria, they do ungodly damages. And kojima blades are hilarious but never worth it :D But to make melee really, really work, you have to dunk all other stats but mobility and that combined with hilariously bad melee range and hitboxes.... Yeah. It's a process. It gets truly insane using nonpaired blades and all slotted support boosters on a light AC chassis heavily favoring burst output from all parts. Then just practice until you git gud and tune your setup. 1v4 arteria sub 30 sec :D Nothing takes a k-blade and survives especially if you tap em with a fast blade to stun first :P AC will occasionally almost disappear off the screen due to sideways boost yeeting the camera around . :p The meme video about average 1v1 isn't that far off he truth ngl. But the controls become insanity to keep up with and the learning curve is a cliff, still, that's where the insanity sub-60sec mission timers are, melee is the speedrun method. Using the white glint chassis also let's you fly, and fly fast on melee setups since you aren't really carrying stuff. Recommend.
@@LibbyGrimmdamn that sounds really fun im gonna try that!! Have you got any other suggestions for skill based builds(especially for first play through as I'm a newb) I'm already gitting p guud as I get bored of cheese very fast. Tho obviously nothing compared to y'all vets lol
@@austindecaux7895 i mean first tiem around rely on good seeker missiles and assault rifles, that ain't wrong to do either, i'd waste ng+ for "builds" and just get thru it first time around. This ye olde game where content is replayability, you don't really get all unlocks until ng2++ anyway due to convoluted mission paths. And you don't just get good, you have to sink hours in xd.
