SEC player of the year. Transfer of the Year. 2nd most efficient shooter next to Reed Sheppard. Dropped many 30 point games carrying Tennessee. He should’ve been much higher than imo. a lot of coaches in both tournaments saw him and knew he was gonna be a problem until he met Zach Edey. The best reason for this can best be summarized by his performance in the Elite Eight. In that game both Knecht and Edey outscored the rest of their teams combined by 15. He was one of the two players in all of college basketball that dragged his team kicking and screaming to a deep tournament run and only stopped because he ran into the other one. This man has the talent of a scorer and the mindset to make whatever shot is necessary to win, even if it's an impossible layup against a 7'4" giant.
