@@raymondqiu8202 some players take longer to put it all together. It's not smart for players to enter the draft who aren't ready. Look at Austin Rivers for example. Knecht could have gone to the draft last year but decided to stay an extra year and it clearly paid off.

After looking at these highlights, Dalton has a similar perimeter game to J.J Redick in Duke. That 37 point game with 9 threes against the Jazz tied him for most threes by a rookie. Him and J.J are definitely working very closely.

Yeah his age might've played a part in why rebuilding teams don't want him, but he's definitely a good win-now piece for teams who still hope to contend.

It’s a huge risk if he’s not able to find his place as a 3 PT threat, he wont have much use. He’s also a bad defender, so he only offers offense. Perfect for a team that just needs a guy to shoot the ball, horrible for a team that needs a young playmaker.

I feel terrible for Dalton. If he was on any other roster he would be averaging 20 PPG and would be the favorite to win the rookie of the year. The Lakers basically just stick him in the corner and never pass him the ball even though he is shooting 45% from three. Lakers only care about their own stats and has no interest in passing the ball to the wide open sharp shooter. The only time Dalton was able to score a lot of points was when LeBron was trying to break the triple double record and needed someone to knock down shots to get him assists
