1991 Tumba 1st place: Pia Pia Man'é Un Trambia - Elia Isenia

di den pasado.
E di tres dekada di Festival di Tumba (1991-2000)
a kuminsa tremendo ku nos prome 'Reina di Tumba': Elia Isenia.
Boy Dap, aunke ku a slow down un tiki, a bai ku e korona na 1992
pa na aña 1997 a 'klaba' su di dies(!) titulo pa asina
koroná su mes komo e uniko 'Emperador' di Tumba.
Otro ganadonan den e 3er dekada:
Urvin 'Luwi' Jano i Ike Jesurun (ambos 2x),
Sidney 'Mr. Saab' Isidora i Harry Zimmerman (pa ambos di 3 triumfo en total),
i Hendrik de Windt.
Curaçao Tumba Festival 2015 is on its way, time to take a further look at previous winners
from the contest.
The 3rd decade of the Festival di Tumba (1991-2000) started off in a fantastic
way with our first 'Tumba Queen': Elia Isenia.
Boy Dap, though slowing down a bit, took home the crown in 1992 before 'hammering' away
his 10th (!) title in 1997 to become the one and only 'Emperor' of Tumba.
Other winners in the 3rd decade:
Urvin 'Luwi' Jano and Ike Jesurun (both 2x),
Sidney 'Mr. Saab' Isidora and Harry Zimmerman (for both their 3rd over-all win) and Hendrik de Windt.
