All tdv8 have a fuel burning heater. It’s used to heat up the engine quicker and the option to use it to pre heat the car. Either use the timer on the menu or get the separate blipped remote and kick it in from the house. Fully defrosted and warm by time you get to the car. Lots of different blipper remotes so do your research. Fuel tank needs to be more than a quarter full and battery in good condition. It also helps to turn the temp dials and the wheeled one to max the night before.
@@Back_Road_Hero Try it on the screen, select a time for it to start and se if it works , if it does have one and it works then get yourself a fob, and start the fbh remotely.
Yup the same for me, as you say - the best 3 buttons

Awesome Rob. That’s a pleasant surprise. I’ll get on it! Ed
Happy to help. No point in having all this knowledge in my head and not sharing it 😂😂
You should use the FBH, makes it nice and warm when you get in and windows are already clear.
FBH? Not sure we have that.
@@Back_Road_Hero Fuel Burning heater.
We don’t have one. At least I don’t think so. Where would I find it? Ed

@@Back_Road_Hero The unit itself should be hidden in the NS front wheel arch.
