His biggest bluff was saying he'd play any one heads up for a million and then stopped playing when Jungleman was crushing him
That Swedish destroyed him for 6 million then he had the bright idea giving 3:1 to Daniel Cates (a heads up NL holdem monster even Phil Ivey avoided) to 200/400 and ended up getting clobbered.
@@Luka23567 yeah jungleman is pretty good
@@Luka23567 you talking about isildur1? I'm kinda sad that nothing came out of Isildur. I mean, ya talented player and all, but at the height of his HU play with dwan, i totally thought this guy would take over
I can't belive someone bluffed Ivey, Tom Dwan is a vampire
Durr should easily be one of the top 20 best poker players of all time, objectively. He doesn't have all the accolades and all that but he has GAME,he can not only hang but dismantle even the greatest players of all time. He can't be shook.
As soon as Dwan played the "it was the lighting card" you can see Ivey shake his head and know it was another Durr bluff.
Hey my man are you a mallu bro
What a great game I have seen it live on TV. Thanks Poker Go
God I could watch this hand 1000 times
The last hand is with Ivey's 6s is still the greatest hand in poker history, it's like a tense Oscar-winning drama
Tom's banter regarding "the lights" is sososo gutless lol
That's when the table knew he was bluffing lol.
last hand was crazy from both durrr and ivey holy shit
tom triple barreled with nothing like a mad man, and phil almost called and won with pretty much nothing as well
fucking next level poker right there
He almost passed out bluffing lmfao 🤣
The eastgate bluff knowing he would lay down trips was next level
No Eastgate just sussed out
A very nice reminder of the good old poker times
That last hand had ME sweating bullets!
I love that first hand! The flop bet was perfect by Dwan. He immediately was able to decipher Eastgate had the weak deuce by calling the bet and that Greenstein probably had A’s or K’s. That turn bet wasn’t as crazy once he knew what the others had.
please upload complete episodes of High stakes poker. all seasons
Un régal pour les yeux sont fameux jeux Tom durrr
That first hand, my aces are in the muck immediately when its a family pot 😂😂
duur from this period... probably best of all times .. just see w which players his playin ..he dominated the best fields - players in the world
At 21:49 ivey is asking what the chips in the middle are and after she answers, it seems like the 10k difference meant something to him. In relative terms 10k means nothing to the pot odds/size. So I wonder what his gesture during that exchange meant
she was saying the bet, the tv effect said 10k more than it actually was
This Eastgate dude is Dwan's favorite fish. With the jj against Dwan, all in cmon.
This compilation is.... sick
2500$ with 8 players in the Pot... Peter only had 4 2 off , Dwan evaluated the Hand Perfectly and had the Balls to make the Play. Was not a Bad Fold by Eastgate.
Dwan is GOATed for that Ivey bluff
The Eastgate Greenstein hand is pure genius
I love Tom Dwan sooo much, Durrrr is amazing
I love how dwan has suited cards , and the commentators announce a flush draw like it's quads and he bets like they are quads.
Tom Dwan is a master of reading people. Such a true statement
Eastgate doesn't have the cajones to play high-stakes.
@Agent Tube What is your net worth?
He sat at the wrong table
@Agent Tube it is 100% a fold in that situation.
If Dwan had a Full House, everyone would call it a great laydown only pro players can make.
Scary money no winning
4:25 "He had the best hand". That's insane.
the moment when you get bluffed by Dwan and the next time he hits the high straight when you have the low straight......VOMIT!
6.12 Eastgates check was that weak that I thought his hand was the flop .
Note to self remember to strength check!
I remember seeing this hand 10 years ago, still not sure Dwan realized Eastgate had a duece and he could get him to fold it.
Go back to bed 🤣🤣🤣 funniest line ever by Daniel
"I have 7 high" hahaha
16:32 The two best players play one of the best hands.
i still think ivey would have called if the table didnt start talking to him and laughing at eli ...they broke him out the zone
That's what I was thinking. That was the moment he lost focus.
@@justwowmanplays2941 100%
24:37 Eli "Watz rong wit yor eyes" 🤣
“Petter has the best hand” Holy shit. God level
It’s not that tough to come to that conclusion. Based on the positions it didn’t make sense for Barry to have a 2, but it wasn’t unreasonable for Peter to have one in that spot.
Best poker I have ever watched.
in my opinion the best poker player of all times
He is up there! Thats for sure!
Best?!?!?!?! Durr doesn't even crack the top 20. Come on.
@@scottmc1855 how does he not crack Top 20? What 19 do you have over him all time? What criteria have you used to determine thisv
@@AT-qm8gv - How does he? Is it all his tournament wins? I don't think he's ever won a single one. He's a well known cash player who has some huge wins.... and some huge losses. Outside of some crazy bluffs on TH-cam.... can you tell me what makes him so great? He's like Viktor Blom. Big wins/losses don't make you a great poker player. I'm not saying he's a bad poker player but I think suggesting he is top 20 all time is rather insulting to poker.
@@scottmc1855 Tournament wins mean very little and tournament players are a dime a dozen. There is very little longevity and good cash players are far superior than good tournament players. Don’t really see how naming him top 20 all time is “insulting to poker”. If you are basing this merely on tournament success then I have no argument and we will never be able to agree as tournaments field some of the worst players in the world and constantly rewards bad play.
Fast forward 2024, Dwan owes everyone money.
That Eastgate fold makes zero sense. What are you playing 42 for if when you flop trips you're folding? If he has a boat you're broke. If not he's Tom Dwan and bluffing. Crazy fold
I think I’m going to stop correcting people. You’re right. You should continue to the River 100% of the time.
@0:05 Tom is like the character named Data on Star Trek.
Why would east gate call flop only fold a turned 7 of D? Makes no sense.
cuz he’s not smart lmaoo
Obviously didn’t feel comfortable playing for the amount he was playing. Dwan knew that and bullied him.
Out trình! Tom hội tụ rất nhiều yếu tố để có thể Bluff như vậy!
I have never ever seen peter eastgate win a pot ever. What a flog.
Watch the 08 main event
@@naordligatch7414 He's making a point. Eastgate is only at this table BECAUSE of the '08 main event. The fact that he folded trips like that just shows how he is outmatched in every way possible. Durr is a gd legend. Ivey still the GOAT though. Chip Reese in second imo.
@@LakerGold24-8 He folded second worst trips on an 8 player flop with one player left to act behind him, not a bad fold at all.
@@JohnG57 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 that's a good one, bro. You must be more of a go fish guy more than poker. LoL jk man but no way I'm doing anything but trapping or raising, calling a family pot w 2.3. and flipping trips. C'mon guy.
19:39
The man with 9 high bets 123200. The commentary always makes me laugh.
I've just started getting into poker playing online exclusively till only recently... The stones on this guy to bluff Phil with nothing takes series bottle. To be fair would of been unreal if he called it.
A few nice plays close to the end of this game
