Thankyou for explaining that to me, i am beeing sincere in saying that. I have been a motorsport enthusiast and competitor all my life but i never asked this questiopn before and therefore didnt understand, now i do. I´m going to have a look at another one of your videos now , it is entertaining stuff and now i can enjoy it for what it is. :)
@CezeliProductions yea going to get one (or make one) myself soon, this looks to be much better for run and gun situations compared to the old tripod :)
@ciencin I dont think i have ever given the tripod a real chance in the panning of shots like this but i got so use to using the suction mount it just made total sense to use it.
@ciencin Ah how's it going dude!? yeah i used it one day as i forgot my tripod (which is a piece of crap, that incidentally i lost at Mondello lol) and it was alot freer and the stability was pretty good - so its been my best pal since! lol
@321CrashandBurn commentary is something i may look into doing next year but i dont think my videos are good enough quality for RTE and besides anything like that has to go through Prodrift - thanks for the positivity though :)
You are looking at drifting with the complete wrong mindset. You are thinking of it as a motorsport where some concept of time or position (in terms of finishing in front of your competitor is the goal) - these rules or ideas simply do not apply in drifting so therefore a direct comparison is completely useless and without merit. Drifting is better described as an "extreme sport" like skateboarding, snowboarding and so on. Based on style and execution which is then judged by a panel.
is there a winner in this sport? or just a wanker? or two........ So these are highly tuned , highly expensive very quick cars, now what would i do if i had such a thing? hmmmmmm, i know i would race it, hillclimb it, sprint it or maybe rally it! Yes i would compete in a recognised motorsport which would show my skill or lack of by pushing the car to its limits of performance and speed against other like minded people in similar cars. Thats just me though, or is it ?
