This list was compiled from years of trial and error with many different materials, tools, inks, and paper. I do get a small commission if you purchase anything from the amazon links. You can find most of these items at a local art store, or shop around for the best price you can find!
Thank you for watching!
Really enjoyed, how you captured the sense of what it is like cutting into the block. The transformation between the drawn lines and the lines that are cut is interesting.
Glad I'm not the only one who enjoys watching someone carve a block in regular time!
Sour patch watermelons are goated. I just did the last few months screenprinting and am also moving back to lino to see how it feels.
Those are easily a fav chewy candy! It’s fun to change up our printing process. There’s a lot I learned while doing woodcuts that will influence my linocut!
So unique.. 🎉 How come the paper is not wet?
Great video ...nice image. What wood are you carving on and how thick is your block ? Thanks ( hope you don't give up on the wood blocks)
Thanks! I’ve been using Shina Plywood from McClains Printmaking supplies. It’s a great material not too dense or soft.
Is that a Leica M3 on your shelf? You must have got pretty serious into photography.
Wow, I'm surprised someone spotted that! I love film photography. It's a big part of my creative process, and I draw a lot of inspiration from my bw landscape photos for block print designs.
