I had an original Alien wedge (Alien 2 wedge as well). The club is designed to be used with a CLOSED face. VERY closed, 45º. The manual that came with the club showed that at setup, the grooves of the club (in the case of the Alien, lines of dots across the face) are supposed to point at the toes of your REAR foot. then just swing. Same setup for rough, as well as fairway chipping (club was terrible for full shots).

I bought a set of Wison Wild Thing woods recently, I needed the 3 and 5 wood just to play a round. It suprised me how well they played. Old stuff.

Brilliant I think this could be a new series bud when you go to a new course ask if you can play with a set that you can get for hire or free to just have a round with be fun and can see what you get on each round and maybe maybe find a gem you might want in the bag.

ProKennex is a Taiwanese manufacturer of racquet sports equipment for tennis, squash, badminton and racquetball. Used the tennis racquet back when I was knee high to a grasshopper.

That sand wedge-lump looks like the scoopy loopy made for Mr Barlow in USA. I think it would be good for bashing in tent pegs, but you did hit a good chip onto the green with it. Great effort with what you had mate

Pro Kennex used to make outstanding tennis racquets.....that expertise doesn't look like it transferred to their golf clubs!
