Cruel? No. Unnecessary? Absolutely! Dogs are meant to walk on all four also. Making them walk on two paws for entertainment purposes / video contents is flat out wrong and should not be allowed. It’s not funny nor is it cute.
I totally agree with the lady who is against putting pets into costumes. If you have the desire to dress something up in a daft costume- buy a doll !! It’s demeaning and undignified for the poor animal who has no voice of its own- why do we need to ‘humanise’ them?
Not donating to RSPCA and more. I suppose kids in Halloween costumes are used for our entertainment. I love animals way more than humans, but this BS is too much. Dress your pets! as long as they are comfy, then you’re fine.

I totally agree with Anna. It’s humiliating for them. They have no say in the matter. Some of them look absolutely miserable, too.

If dressing dogs for practical reasons such as warmth and protection from cold and wet weather then yes.
I always felt it was terrible to put clothes on dogs that have a double coat of fur because of them overheating and being distressed.
