I once restored a foot pedal attachment for a piano(so that the organist could practice at home) and was surprised to see that the organist put on another pair of shoes to try it.
It was an independent attachment with a complete set of bass strings. Two people were needed to tune it: the musician played the note with his foot, I had to kneel down behind him to get access to the tuning pins.

Non ho detto nulla della bravura della Organista perché la seguo da un bel po' ed bravissima essenziale ma molto precisa nei fraseggi e nelle parti vistuosistiche ... segue la grande tradizione di Organiste come Jeanne Demessieux (che adoro) la grande Marie Claire Alain e la incredibile Sophie-Véronique Cauchefer-Choplin ...

Très bonne interprétation du pédalier comme toujours, sur un orgue et un environnement merveilleux, je pense que vous avez déjà une autre interprétation de ce travail sur un autre orgue, j'ai beaucoup aimé celui-ci aussi, même si j'aime certainement mieux les orgues à transmission mécanique ou pneumatique, peut-être que je je suis un peu classique. Les orgues m'ont toujours fasciné, même si je n'y ai jamais compris grand chose ... le pédalier est en fait un clavier comme les autres ? et pourquoi y a-t-il tous ces claviers superposés ?
Quant aux manettes à tirer (je pense que vous appelez cela registres ?) à quoi servent-ils
Merci pour votre intérêt pour l’orgue. Le pédalier est un clavier come les autres mais joué par les pieds. Sur nos partitions nous lisons trois lignes superposées : deux pour les mains (comme le piano) et une pour les pieds. Chaque registre correspond à une rangée de tuyau avec un son particulier (doux, fort, aigu, grave, etc). Si on ne tire pas de registre on n’a aucun son. Le fait d’avoir plusieurs claviers nous permet de choisir des sonorités différentes par plan sonore. Ce qui nous permet de faire des effets d’échos par exemple en passant d’un clavier à l’autre, ou de jouer une mélodie en solo à la main droite par exemple, en l’accompagnant sur un jeu doux à la main gauche.
Il existe des vidéos bien faites sur TH-cam qui vous expliqueront en détail tout cela
