Believe it or not, my favorite band. Her vocals and guitar solos give the band away, otherwise you wouldn't know for sure. Not one of their songs sounds like another. Weird. Most bands have a particular sound. They play slow. They play fast. They groove. They blues. They electronica. I believe Dobson takes special care with each song to make them unique.

The first time I heard "Edge Of Town" by Middle Kids, for the first two minutes I was, like, okay, I like things a little more noisy, this is a little middle of the road for me maybe. But I could already feel it growing on me by the second chorus. I kept coming back and soon enough they were my new favorite band. And I just felt exactly the same way I felt when I first heard Middle Kids. I have a strong suspicion I may soon love you just as much.
