Just an idea, I feel like they should make different controllers with different button "feels". Depending on the game, you might want more mushy buttons, or more clicky. It'd be better for more flexibility for the buttons.

It's just a crappy marking move. If people could just use the new controllers on the PS4 they would probably hold back on buying a PS5 for a while. :/ It forces more people to give in. They're trying to get rid of PS4 so they will probably slowly cut off PS4 functions till people get annoyed.
They really didn't even try to hide that they want everyone to stop using a PS4. If the new controllers worked for PS4 people may just settle and not buy a PS5. It's stupid but it happens all the time. They will probably add PS4 support 2 years from now baha.

I love hisokeee with bottom of my heart but I still greedy for his soft but strong hands... Playing DIVA so hard and stay with so good looking skin... I'm 20 now, but after 12 years it's look like I'm grand witch from old "Witches" you know...
From what I have tried myself with the DualSense, the D-Pad has the same problem most DS3s had, where it inputs diagonal inputs making you get wrong inputs on spam. I constantly red cool on Intense Voice on Square and Triangle spam. Otherwise I like the feel of it.
Lol I wonder how project diva will fix in ps5 like in a year or so! 😅 I would love another project diva to annoy my bro. 🤣 (Fyi my brother hates miku. 😉)
Good to know the dpad is better, but sad for the buttons to be a little mushy. I hate that. Now I'm here dreaming that maybe one day we will have a mechanical controller. Who knows.
Luckily the DS4 will still be compatible with the PS5 when playing PS4 software, so hopefully FT should play the same. EDIT: With the lighter/mushier buttons would you say it's comparable to a Switch Pro con?
it looks and apparently weighs the same as the Xbox One remote. I've used the Xbox One remote for a long time and the buttons have always fept mushy, compared to Switch Lite and PS4.

This reminded me that I should replace my ds4 at some point. It's getting old. I've had it for like 2 years and it's been through alot. I was wondering the answer to this question. I think I'll just get another ds4 since I mostly play f2nd and X. I don't have a ps4 or future tone.
I tend to prefer the DS3 over the DS4 for Project diva, would you be able to give a quick comparison of the feel of the DS3-DS5 too? as I feel like I would describe the DS3 Buttons as a loose Springy, like a laptop keyboard where the DS4 is more like one of them chunky bois you get for desktops

I'm pretty scared of the size too. My hands are pretty small, the ps4 controllers are actually already too big for me to play Project Diva.

There is one good thing about the DualSense 5: It will make it easier to find out whose dorito covered fingers used it thanks to it being white.

the dpad for this is way more accurate than the pro controller. But the face buttons on the pro controller is more bouncy than this.
