My first baby didn’t walk til 16 months. My second baby started walking 1 day before his first birthday. All babies are so different and develop differently. Amber is absolutely beautiful and such a precious baby. You and James are doing an amazing job. ❤️🙏❤️🙏

Huge happy birthday Amber. Also the feeling of wow I have a one year old ect does not change my oldest is turning 12!!!! As in years and I'm in shock that it's his last year before a teenager. Our youngest is 8 months this Friday and we can't believe it she's crawling and pulling her self up to stand trying to walk it mad. Finally well done to you and James it's been amazing watching you two grow with Amber from a married couple to parents your relationship growing through the struggles of adjustments being parents and running your channel you are both amazing 👏 ❤

Hope you had an amazing time and amber had a great birthday! Im super jealous you went to center parcs, ive been going since 2011 when i was only around 7/8 years old with my 3 little sisters and parents and honestly as a child all we wanted to do was play in parks and swim, which both are free, so center parcs really doesn't have to be expensive at all and you dont have to book lots of activities. Even now at 19 nearly 20 i absolutely love center parcs!! Cant wait for amber to be able to visit and do more things there when shes older as im sure she'll be obsessed too haha

Hiya! I'm a teacher of the deaf in Wales ... I am loving the baby sign. There might well be classes in your local area to learn baby sign with your baby. Such a good skill to have and she is going to be so lucky that in Wales BSL is coming on our curriculum! Ahhh love it!!!

Really enjoyed this vlog - full of positivity! I’m currently isolating in my room whilst 8 months pregnant as I’ve got the dreaded Covid (feeling very lonely) . My husband is looking after our two year old and bless him, my toddler doesn’t understand why Mummy needs to isolate. This vlog really cheered me up though xxx

I have 4 children and two of them are already adults. I still have moments where I can think, we have really made these wonderful "babies" 😍😂 I think that as long as we are grateful for the gift as parents, we will always have moments like that. Time goes by so fast, especially when you have children. So take care of all the little moments as much as the little ones 😀My oldest daughter also used to move like Amber does. So sweet 😍😍

Aw you guys are so lovely, I really appreciate what you said about sharing things honestly and every baby being different, I have two now and so I’m not nearly so anxious. But with my first I had very little contact with other mums and really struggled with comparisons and such, and looking for advice online was such a bad idea! It was full of very judgmental comments and then insta perfect family’s! Hope you and the family are keeping well, I’m watching this vlog as we’re hoping to be off to Center Parcs next month 😊
My son is 1 years old next month and doesn’t crawl, bum shuffle, stand on his own nor pull himself up! He just rolls literally everywhere and it cracks me up but nothing is more harder than not comparing yourself to others and overthink the matter if I’m doing something wrong as a first time mum and got he health visitor this week. But thank you I NEEDED that reminder that all babies develop in all different times and he will do all that whenever he is ready, I have no one ( mummy friends ) around me to discuss this with and I needed that reminder 😅🥺❤️

Totally understand how you feel about baby's hitting milestones. My little boy is 2 and isn't really talking, I see other babies and toddlers a lot younger than him chatting away and it makes me feel really sad that he isn't there yet. I know it will happen when it happens but it's so nice to hear other mum's feeling the same. Being a mum is wild 🥴😂 xxx
Really appreciated your every child is different thing. My baby is 6 months on Sunday and he isn't rolling yet. He sat for the first time yesterday on his own and I was so proud of him but worried people might be like 'he should be rolling' Happy belated birthday Amber. Xx

I have 3 boys ,5(6 in august) , 4(turned 4 in January) and a soon to be 1 hear old at the end of June and I still look at my kids and can't believe I've grew them in my body and taught them everything they know (were home educating) xx when j gave birth to my 1st my mum & dad kept saying "my baby had a baby" 🤣 so I don't think the feeling ever goes away xx
Carys my nieces are 2 and a half now and every week my sister is like "omg the girls are saying this new thing" or "A is doing this now" or "C is loving this recently" etc and it's so exciting and fun and beautiful to see the tiny little things they pick up or change etc, it's totally normal! I totally understand the concerns with hitting Mile stones etc like I said my sister has twins and one was super advanced for her age in one area but the other was more advanced in a different area, now they're pretty much even though and probably more advanced than some of the kids in their creshe class and that's okay! The other kids will catch up and by the time they're in school everyone will be at the same level, don't rush things, and celebrate and enjoy the little changes every single day!

I only bum shuffled when I was a baby up until 14 months and then one day my mom said I just got up and started walking 😂 like just overnight I was like « ok time to walk » lol everyone is so different there’s no reason to judge or belittle! And honestly Ambers little bum shuffles are literally the CUTEST thing I’ve ever seen! 🥰🥰 be gentle with yourself! You and James are doing fantastic and Amber is exactly where she needs to be! 💕

Usually babies/children in the uk will use Makaton to learn baby sign. I’ve worked in a nursery for 8 years and this is what we teach the children. Hope this helps! Your holiday looked lovely we’ve been there before and loved it, such a beautiful place to make memories xx
