I know this is an old comment but I'm sorry for your loss. I believe animals have souls. Your furry angel is with you in spirit, and you will see your pet again someday. Losing a beloved pet is not something that you really ever "get over" but I hope that your heart has healed and that the pain isn't so intense now.
I'm just seeing this a few years later. I just lost my dog 3 weeks ago. He got out of my fenced yard and was run over by a car. Can't believe he's gone 💔 A pastor helped bury him the same night in my backyard. Feel like I could've been a better dog momma. Guess it's guilty thinking I could've done more to protect him. Miss him so much. Don't take your fur baby for granted. I feel like I did.
Amazing a fourteen-year-old dog survived such an attack AND the surgery. No doctor would perform surgery on my 12 year old fearing she would die on the operating table from a heart attack due to being sedated by the anesthesiologist.
i’m a dog lover and holly got me i thought she was going to die but she didn’t and that made made me so happy but when she die that was so sad but she was a loved god dog no one can forget her now she in a better place fly high angel🥺💖✨🥺❤️🥺💖
With Jessie, I think the touching the side was a nervous guesture. Different horses have their tics, but I've met some who use a sharp twist of the head towards their side (and tail swishing, pawing) when they're anxious or impatient, especially when held or tied. (If they're not just going after a fly.) Very courageous of Jesse to stick with her until they could both get themselves out of there.
Normally humans put down animals-this is the 1st time I’ve ever seen humans ‘operate’ on a little animal. The kindness of these humans made me cry, 🥲 that they cared for this dog.
That’s why it’s a smart idea to have a gun when walking in the wilderness. When I was younger I close encounter with a bear in the woods and now I don’t go out without a vehicle or gun. Just a gunshot in the air could scare an animal like that away.
Carol Snook I never said that I don’t respect wildlife. I try my best to avoid them and if I spot one I make sure to leave the area. I’m just saying that having a weapon or close by vehicle you can use to quickly escape can save your life. It’s always good to have a backup plan
@@jkromah89 yeah well it doesn't change the fact that sometimes they don't leave you alone and you're left with no other. I don't have high hopes for you if you're attacked if I'm going to be honest with you
@@carolsnook4659 spare us the hippy talk. It doesn't matter much you respect nature, people will still occasionally get hurt. You think these kids got attacked because they didn't respect wildlife? Ha! If you get charged by a moose let me know if telling it you respect it works. You'll probably be needing to get rushed to the hospital before you finish talking. Having a respect for nature can lower the risk, it'll never eliminate the possibility, because if an animal chooses to attack, it's not going to care how you feel and only an idiot isn't going to do what it takes to defend themselves. So like it or not, it is a smart move to have some sort of weapon. Better to have it and never need it than to need it and not have it. Just common sense if you go venturing into the woods because you just don't know what could happen
