Near the end of the mission you can hear Michael talking with Packie over the radio who mentions that the army is retreating which allowed Packie to slip away and presumably go into hiding until the next heist
@@Nor1998_yeah in 1997 North Hollywood Shootout happened.Two guys with kevlar wanted to rob the bank they got the money but they had a shhotout with the cops.They were shooting hundreds of rounds with ak 47s and ak 74s for 44 minuted.In the end Swat guys killed one of them and arrested the other and they came up with the shootout form the heat movie back in 1995.The good thing was nobody was killed.You can watch a movie named 44 minuted about that.
