    The Axiom is also an expensive slingshot. If you havevthe cash, great choice.I bought the Scout X. I liked the band attachment system and the aiming mark on the clips.

    I hope you corrected those plugs. They should go on the shooter side. How they are in your slingshot you could pull them out while drawing.

    Thanks, great comparison. I was up in the air about whether to go with the Scout LT or the Axiom Ocularis however your review convinced me to go with my initial selection of the Scout LT.

      Definitely worth it! They’re both great, but LT is more versatile IMO.

      I guess you're right looking at SimpleShot's website. That said it doesn't seem to make too much of a difference in how it secures the bands. Thanks for pointing that out!

      Either way works fine. The Ocularis system is great and very versatile.

    Hi! At the end of the video you talk about the "side ride cards" which you have installed at the Scout LT. Where did you get this? It seems great to get much faster at the target! Thanks and have a nice day!

    I have a few bought one but the most i made myself. I had the scout gave it away. I have a chinese don't shoot it often but its banded. I have two naturals one with heavy bands and a small one i use most for shooting steel bb's indoor. And a have a home made heavy steel one with tubes. Its good but i don't use it often :)
    And i almost forgot i have some frameless tube shooters. Did use those ones for years but lately i'm more into my small bb shooter :)

    The handslaps will stop all together if you use the correct ammo for the bands you're using. If it slaps then you know you need to use heavier ammo or lighter bands. It will also make your bands break much sooner if your ammo is too light. It's almost as bad as dry firing

    I was getting band slap really bad when shooting my OTT's and then I found out you get band slap from shooting to strong a set of bands for the ammo you are shooting or your ammo is to light for your band set. Once you get the ammo and bands matched you will love shooting OTT as the band slap practically disappears and the accuracy is way better than TTF in my opinion. Also the Daisy B52 wrist rocket style slingshots are actually really accurate once you get rid of the tubes and tie on flat bands.

    I just ordered the Scout LT can’t wait to shot it the last slingshot I used was a wrist rocket with the tube bands and I couldn’t hit a bull in the ass with it !

    • @kd7gxfsmd
      @kd7gxfsmd  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, the Scout LT will fix that right up! Wrist rockets are inherently inaccurate, but you will still need some practice with the LT. Make sure to have a consistent anchor point, and micro-adjust your aiming reference on the top of the slingshot. I'm betting within 50 shots, you'll be able to hit a soda can at 10 meters!

      S. Davis I got my Scout LT in this mornings mail, I adjusted the band to my draw length I will have to order some 7/16 steel ammo I had some 3/8 but it’s to light I am getting hand slap, so I cast round ball for my black powder pistols and I have some .380 which weighs 84 grain compared to the 54 grain 3/8 steel that stopped the hand slap. I set up a cola can at 35 feet and was good on elevation but shooting way to the right so after about 12 shots I changed my thumb from pressing on the back of the fork to what I think is called a full pinch grip? Letting my thumb rap around the fork and the first shot bam 💥 second can hit it, third shot a little low. I have shot probably 30 shots and can hit the can around three out of five. I shoot a longbow instinctive so I am sure that helps. I am going to work on my release and a consistent anchor just as you said.

      @kd7gxfsmd  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I haven't heard many shoot at 45 degrees but it is certainly possible. Great all around slingshot!

    Looks like the Axiom to me. The scout has the pinkie hole.

    What size and thickness bands do you use on the Scout LT?

    • @kd7gxfsmd
      @kd7gxfsmd  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nick Cook for a while I was using .7mm but I was sent some .6 mm and I really like it! It’s good enough for 3/8 steel but has a much lighter pull.
