As always, my heart flows with the beauty and joy of Kaua'i in '99....10 days of beauty, sweetness, and snorkeling at Hanalei! Keep up the music that lifts the heart and soul! Mahalo
Thanks, Eric. Seeing Led live is a whole 'nother experience. As many hours as we've played together he never fails to come up with great new stuff. Fran
You made my wife's day, Dave, mine too actually. We found that in Palm Springs and lugged it home in the back seat of our car and it has been our favorite lamp ever since. Fran
Yes indeed, we'll be at the Cue on Saturday. Thursday at the Throckmorton in Mill Valley, Friday at the Palms in Winters, and Sunday at Pacifica Performances. Busy weekend but plenty of fun makes it worth the travel. Hope you can join us at the Cue. Fran
Serge, sorry I missed this question. I'm using a Martin OM-18GE, which is a long scale with a wide nut and saddle, a mahogany 000 body, and a red spruce top with scalloped bracing. Led's Martin 000-16 is also a mahogany 000 body and long scale, but he has a narrower nut and saddle and a sitka top - I think his guitar has straight rather than scalloped bracing. The 000-16 name has since been applied to some rather different guitars over the years. The version Led plays is the earliest, built for a few years in the early 90s. Fran
Hey, thanks for bringing this one to the surface. It's a great example of the pleasures of a two chord song - the simple structure opens up space for all manner of exploration and this clip was a pretty successful journey (grin). Fran
You guys do more for the world than all the yabbering of the politicians. Just beautiful.
Thanks, Nick, so glad you're enjoying the music.
Fran
Always come back to you guys...sweet, sweet music. Inspiring.
Thanks for visiting, we love doing the music for ourselves but it makes it even sweeter to share it with folks.

Fran, you have blessed the last decade of my life so much. Thank you and Ledward for such soul satisfying music.

Beautiful as usual. Thanx for posting this.
Joan, lovely to hear from you. It's great to have Grandmaster Led here, he gets me off my behind and producing clips.

Great stuff, Fran. Lovely accompaniment.
I've had the pleasure of seeing Led both in Hawaii and in Chicago.
Thanks, Eric. Seeing Led live is a whole 'nother experience. As many hours as we've played together he never fails to come up with great new stuff.

Love the guitar playing, but that palm tree might be the most bad ass thing I’ve ever seen.
You made my wife's day, Dave, mine too actually. We found that in Palm Springs and lugged it home in the back seat of our car and it has been our favorite lamp ever since.

What kind of Martin guitar are you using gentlemen?
