One thing I noticed with parrying, is that depending on your ping, the animation for a weapon almost always comes after the hit registers. It's very weird. Like I always have ~50 ping but this is a consistent thing. The lower ping you have, however, does make it less impactful, so most of the time it doesn't matter, but if you have over 90 ping, it can really affect gameplay. It does make it so that you can't depend on reaction as much, and rather only prediction, which for me really sucks. Also, in the upcoming update, they better fix the hitboxes for literally every weapon, like I have a clip of a sickle having literal ds range. And he wasn't using a hitbox extender. Then I saw a ds have the hit box the size of 2 ds. Again, if you have low ping like around 50, like me, it won't matter all that much. Big comment yeah, I just kind of wanted to type today, I guess.
True, i even suck parrying sickle users and it makes me super upset
if I had ping lower than 50, I would be called out as a hacker with my reaction speed from focusing, cuz I got accused by a ds user once for auto parry 💀
yes, i have 200 ping and had to stop playing this game because of that
i got like 150 ping but i hit parries sometimes but i never hit parries on tryhards
I have 200 ping on a daily basis. Sometimes my WiFi is nice and I get 100 but very rarely.
the most frustrating thing isn't even prediction-based timing over reaction-based. Its that everyone quite literally anticipates you will parry too early and it just turns into whoever decides to parry first bruh

Parry is broken asf , sometimes people's swings wont reg when you parry and its really weird when your opponent uses spear/trident like you parry them - it wont reg parry and hits you when parry animation ends

Why are half of the guides on this game so vague and genuinely unhelpful?
It really sucks when you're trying to find videos to try and catch up to that one friend with the innate ability to grasp every advanced gameplay mechanic in a game in minutes.
I do want to play with them -they're my friend- but DAMN if it isn't hard to genuinely hate playing with them half the time.
@@rampantbuckler818 if you still have been playing hopefully you've have gotten better but it's about pattern recognition and playstyles if you can understand people's playstyles and what they do to get kills you can counteract that by having your own playstyles there's certain movements that people make that you can anticipate to parry them although as you said parrying is it bad thing to rely on so just work on your movement first
@@rampantbuckler818 and I know it sucks that every guide video on TH-cam is absolutely terrible and it does not give you that much information to get better nor does any people on the game when actually wanted to take the time to help you the only thing they can do if they do is just give you practices on on like random movement patterns and a little bit of tips but the most you can learn from is by playing against high-level players and closely analyzing their movement and in-game thinking
@@rampantbuckler818 so what I'm doing right now is I'm closely analyzed and some of the popular combat warriors gameplay and the more I watch these videos closely the more I can learn from why they move in a certain way and how they get that many kills from it
@@rampantbuckler818 it's very hard at first to learn why people do things and why it's so good because it's kind of like a level of being a noob to decent to being a pro and within these levels they're very different understandings of a game for like noob you just play the game because right now you're understanding how to play the game and for decent players kind of getting accustomed to your own type of play style in your unlocking new weapons to fight with and for pros they've played enough and remembered enough of the many different movements tactics and timings to win almost every round

When i parry them they keep getting up so quickly and i’m so confused cuz i used to just parry kick hit with my shield then stomp and that was it
now they get up before the last hit
I instinctively click parry when someone walks up to me. I 99.999% of the time end up getting killed. I’m a mobile player so parry is a lil weird and sometimes it doesn’t even work. Sometimes when I have a higher ping it helps me predict it sooner.

I parried 5 time in the exact time and somehow the game didn't want to register my parry and it let the attacks bypass my parry, im so happy 😊
