if you get someone low and they start running, use any throwables you have (using frag and molotov to cut them off, kunai to hit them while chasing them etc.) and when you catch up to them, expect a parry or a swing. Usually what I do is run up to them, then dash backwards so that they whiff their parry and I have a chance to dodge their attack. It works 99% of the time.
Stamina Conservation is the hardest thing for pro players and new players to learn. You should make a video how to Conserve Stamina like when to slide and when not to slide or what is better to use Dash or Slide
I’m only lvl 48 and I’ve been getting great numbers since this guide, I’ve got top 2 twice and even top 1 just once. With Bo Staff. If I’m not in top 3, I’m in ~top15 (usually in ~30 player servers). What I’m trying to learn right now is getting rid of my panic parry habit and dodging as much as I can. Thanks for helping me in my journey to getting Dragon Slayer!
Panic Parrying is understandable, I myself used to main light weapons and never really grew to relying on parrying attacks. Tip for you is to just NOT PARRY at all, try to restrain yourself if you can
@@exodusziek very true, I'ma. Heavy user, And when I was about level 50, I realized panic parrying isn't gonna do much since people just wait for you to parry, So instead try to attack And dodge and play defensively, One thing also is, If you keep dying let's say you keep getting parried, learn from your mistakes, And instead parry bait them, Use their advantage to their as disadvantage.
Advice for those fighting with Auto-Parry users. Their Auto-Parry only activates when their near someone, NOT when you attack them. Come close to them and don’t attack. It activates their parry and it will fail causing them to stall cause of the start-up lag it has when you fail to parry. Use that to your advantage and attack them.
No that dosent work btw what kind of reason makes you think that auto parry works like that u have to cancel ur hit by swinging and immediately take ur weapon off it will activate their parry
Man the way u talk about fighting tips and how its based on true experience and not just on numbers felt like im taking an advice from a genuine warrior
I’ve mainly been getting screwed over by peoples swings somehow having more range than they visibly should and my parries not working despite the person I’m trying to parry swinging constantly without care, and it’s gotten to the point where it feels like I can’t compete because I’ll either die because the other guys weapon has twice the range of the actual weapon itself or because my parry missed despite the attack so clearly landing on it
One important thing you must always attempt to do when fighting other people especially tryhards or people who are better than you is to match their attack pattern. If you keep getting killed by them remember the same events that took place again and again before they killed you, and try to make sure that doesn't happen again. DS users don't tend to parry if at all so your best bet is to not parry either as they will be attempting to bait you out. Be careful but do not attempt to parry, also watch for how they attack, if you parry and they attack when your parry is gone and you're moving slow, don't swing, just jump back when the game lets you. It's a classic trap I've seen a lot of DS users or just anyone use to parry you when you're no longer stunned/moving slow after a failed parry.
Im now a level 216 i think and i never practice in cw. I just play the game and learn from my mistakes and now i can take 2v1 pretty nicely. And also if your trying to parry bait someone then you need to be patient man, being patient can sometimes give you that sweet W. Im more of a aggressive player so i dont really have that much patient.
Extra Tip: If You're Doing Heavy Only Dont Use Longsword , Continue Using The Spear Since The Spear Has Far More Range And Mantaining Range Is Really Good For Beginners
Im level 40+ and im taking notes, My personal most consistent mistake is missing my parries, I do land alot of parries but missing my parries is the most consistent mistake i do more than any other mistake i do, Got any advise on that? I've been doing alot of parry baiting.
Bardiche is actually really good, and has a slower and different version of the glaive finisher, in which you tear the targets heads off, so you can do the same trick with bardiche that you would do with glaive
Slide- a move that is capable of making a wide range if movements used for dodging and attacking it can be turned into a source but at what cost you can over use slide and that might be the reason why you die or win a lot. Dash/roll- a move that is short but is used mostly for taking back movement like accidentally pressing party or hitting which is defense.
My tip is to learn your enemies, like they may have killed you like 2 times but now you know how the beat them because you now know how they play. Use that knowledge to get around there attacks and beat them, it works most of the time. (Sorry if this is said weird, I’m pretty bad at explaining things.)
Pro tip:if your gonna use something like the black hole or a nuke use it in the largest sever you find it will kill around 70-95 people depending on the play count
Imo, try practicing with lights if ur a beginner to learn how to dodge parries. Also I speedranned the chainsaw before dragon slayer to make a statement. Beach Is Not Safe.
All you need to do is copy elemental's movements and they somehow work, trust me lol, I went from bardiche to odachi in just over a week Edit: I'm at colossal greatsword now lol Edit 2: I forgor about this comment I made, but I have all weapons unlocked over a month ago
I got to level like 25 just by turning on metal gear rising revengeance soundtrack and i actually sometimes easily beaten a dragon slayer (with khopesh as my main weapon)
I might be late but extra tip Learn from mistake if you lose to a guy because parry try to lose to him twice or 3 to check how he parry then if you get it that he parry like Before Hit Between Hit or Hit Parry you can destroy him for rest of the round
This one video is what caused me to get my first mvp at the end of an "round" and even outperforming an cheater if that is not proof this video is VERY HELPFUL then idk what is
this has got to be the best video for this game i really suck at it and this kinda cleared up sometings for me thanks man your awsome and this video was very good 😄
if you want a tip for countering parries, all you have to do is hit them before they parry and the second you hit them, put away your weapon. if you do it perfectly, you wont get stunned and you'll get a free hit off of them. edit: bro bo staff is the worst weapon i tried it for 3 hours and i died so many times
ty you helped me so much i was about to quit because my motivation but when i saw this JUST ACCEPT IT and you helped me with my gameplay alot thank you c:

thanks for making me learn more tips about the stamina thing like dont shift everytime and how to out smart light users and when low hp they panik parry
2 days ago I started playing to see your videos I was curious about the game and this video has helped me a lot, the Bo staff It's become my favorite weapon xd
im kinda used to pvp games .. but i cant guarantee ill be a pro right after 3 hours , plus i dont know anything abt the game so thanks for this guide :)
If someone kills me, I usually think about how they play. So if they parried last fight I’ll expect when they parry. Also I’m level 100 and I still learned a bit from this vid thanks elemental.
ill be honest, i have bad anger issues that really lead to breakdowns, but after playing combat warriors i never get mad even a bit. i can die atleast 150 times in one sitting without raging, i dont know what it is about the game but i just dont seem to have anything that causes anger in me
also another tip for everyone even you elemental when your opponents are standing still like that not loke not move / walkng when the wepon dose not move learn the timing of all ofthe wepon swings

Yea I always try to both dash and slide to attack which really waste stamina
definitely bruh, like i do one fight someone comes to finish me off because im red hp and then i have like no stamina to run
I just rush in with a jump and slide than just conserve and just go into it again
Dash for dodge
Slide for attack

I have a trick is that when you dont know where is gonna land the hit, you just spin the camera while parrying (help vs Unpredictable people)
I think its parry delay
Another thing: animations not playing, its hard to see when the enemy attacks when you dont see the avatar anim
