They should make Super Mario 64 maker.... or more likely Super Mario 3D Maker.
That is genuinely a possibility after the success of this game.

Say you "beat" one of the stars in this level. You go to that underwater hub area where you hit a checkpoint and go through another pipe to hit another checkpoint. You could easily get there once, hit that checkpoint, then run out of time. When you respawn, you'll be at Big Boo.

One minor design flub I noticed: It's possible to skip the level by waiting for the time to run out after getting the first half of the check point.
Yup. That cheesability was unavoidable with the checkpoint system I decided on. But if someone wants to skip the level, that's their loss.
i think you should call this Super Mario 16 instead of 64 since its not 64-bit

Who agrees Mario 64 should be a theme in Mario maker 2
Just a nitpick, but maybe you should extend the time limit along with many checkpoints since a lot of thought is required in the first run. Plus, I would think that it would be satisfying for a first time player to complete without dying.
I would extend the time limit and add more checkpoints if I could, unfortunately Mario Maker levels can only be 500 seconds long and have 2 checkpoints.
How did you get a SMW sprite into an SMB3 design field? The only moles in SMB3 were Rocky Wrenches.
Nintendo added assets to the older game themes so that your levels will work even as you switch between games themes. So moles can now be used in SMB and SMB3 levels even though they first appeared in SMW.
