We need lots of discussion about the sea-change of the VII Era in the Church. Dr E Michael Jones and Bishop Williamson have excellent contributions to this discussion.
With that very clear description of Benedict XVI about papal authority.....and what we're seeing now with Francis, it seems that there is a certain dictatorship going on in the Church right now.
We need holy priest and a return to family values.🙏🙏🙏

Most people today were born AFTER all the changes in the Church and have no memory of the pre-VII or the old Church. Even with a return to the true Faith what will it become?
I lived through all these illegal changes. The Priests were also sinning against children . causing great pain and confusing to my family..

You know the phycological phenomena taught by Dale Carnegie in one of his books? A man acts according to reason and a woman acts according to emotion. But a group of men act according to emotion! Seems to ring true when you think about it! That the bishops at a general council would have a "feminine energy," (as the modern woo wooers say), is probably by Christ's design. For the pope would be the head or the "masculine energy," and the bishops the feminine energy. So even a Church council has a head and a heart! Now I'm wondering, who is going to be the head of this heart you are creating?
Next time I hope that Moynihan shuts up! We had to listen to this guy for over half the program until they got to the question advertised in the title. I like Fr Ripperger, but they spent too much time off topic.
Sadly ripperger is wrong about the sacraments firstly you need the faith to benefit from the sacraments, so learning the dogmas is a better start
Orthodox here. What liturgy? You have only rubbed left. I thought the Roman Pontiff was a guarantor of orthopraxy and despite the fact that we poor 'schismatics' don't benefit from that guarantee for theadt millennium we managed to preserve our sacrements, our liturgy, our iconography, our hymnography, our sacred architecture is much better ways than the Roman Church.
A millennium is not a short period of time. Surely the difference should be shining after so much years.

Are you referring to the Byzantine Catholic Church or one of the autocephalous Orthodox churches?
Many foolish things in your comment but something you're failing to recognize is that in a essential sense, the Divine Liturgy and what's called the Traditional Latin Mass is quite similar. Your idea of the pope as guarantor of orthopraxis shows how flawed your understanding of the Petrine See truly is. Peter, the rock upon which the Church was founded, was a flawed man. Popes are flawed men (to say nothing of metropolitans and patriarchs). The head of the Church on earth does not act on his own, nor of his own motivations, particularly in matters of infallible definition of faith or morals. The difference of deficiency is shining indeed after so many years, and is the reason that we are, and will remain, Roman Catholic. May you find your way back to the faith and stop trolling Catholic videos like a freestyle bapticostal. For someone who supposedly holds their faith tradition in such esteem, you debase it by poor behavior in being a comment troll.
