However, she does have a tad bit of disassociation with reality because she gave an example of stability as "Her kids loved the delivery pizza from the school". She also associated "Being in love", with "Chasing her partner down the street with steak knife". That's not a great example of being in love, actually that's not love at all. I believe the guy mistreats her because he's aware of her mental capacity, it's not adult like. Maybe she's never seen examples of healthy love so she thinks this is normal, that's also a possibility.

That in itself sounds as if she's maybe suffering from mental impaired. But, we can be wrong. She may not understand what love is because shes never seen or experienced it or she's speaking out of turn when her examples have nothing to do with the questions asked of her. Stress can do that to you. I've experienced it myself. She's a beautiful women, well spoken. Hopefully she's moved on and found herself.

It's not that easy. Not 1 person on this planet has been deeply in love with someone and after the first hiccup made a swift decision to move on. That's not how emotions operate. We all have been here before maybe not to thier extent but we've all dealt with some level of poor behavior from our partners before we said no more, I'm out!. Some have a low tolerance and know thier worth after the 1st time, and others will continue to get hurt until they decide to leave. She happens to be amongst those that will put up with it. He doesn't want her, and he's telling her. So, that in itself is not a matter of love but of low self worth.
