Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Great video Matt and Andy! You always go above and beyond what is safe just for us! That's what makes finders beepers history seekers the great thing to watch! So that being said ... like, subscribe, hit the bell icon and leave a great comment! Also check out the other channels beepers beef and the other new one ... love love l❤ve you guys from across the pond!!! Good ol US of A! 👋😘
This give me chills, it reminds me of awful swimming lessons in the 70s that my mum made me have, awful strong chlorine burning my eyes, chipped horrible floor tiles, changing cubicles along the pool and a dodgy swimming instructer who would just push us to in😫 happy days😭😭😭
Andy just kills me with laughter… you guys are the absolute best! Recovering from covid at the minute and I’m binge watching the whole of your videos… you guys are amazing 😻
there used to be benches all across the wall on the viewing platform. these baths are where i learnt to swim as a child, we spent many a happy day in that pool!
The chimney would have been for the coal that they would use for heating up the water for the pool back in the day. I also thing those little gullies are for water. I would imagine back in the day there was a natural stream or something that would flow through there. Could be wrong though.. Great video guys and had me in stitches yet again..
It'd be sweet if you can get into that plant room. Those bricks into that tunnel were precarious. The lintel had definitely fallen down. That reminds me of a cart path for transporting materials between the plant and the pool. Many buildings constructed around the same time period here in the USA had similar tunnels to transport materials between buildings and some cities had large networks of those tunnels.
Another great video good to c these places before they get wrecked then the history is gone, watching all your old video's as always you two really cheer up every one's day you don't half take some chances take care can't wait for the next new one's 👍
When you went into the pool room it took me back to Bramley baths in Leeds, looked very similar. Good memories learning to swim, the cubicles were same think you only got an hour or so then had to get out. Depending if full. Thanks for this. Also pleasse consider putting a mask on in those dusty attics,. The other thought I had when you were in that tunnel....like a man putting his head in the lions mouth, braver than me. Love it. Happy valentine's to yr wives!
I can't stop watching you two, but "THE GLORY HOLE" you two are eye ball raisin amazing, just recently starting watching, now I can't stop, much love from Scotland xxx
That was really cool! Love the hidden room fireplace, wonder if that was still left alone because nobody really knows about it... y’all give me smiles! Stay safe!

Hi guys great show by the way, about the channels in the floors, they were for steel pipework to run to and from the boilers and around the building, we normally find them in hospitals or large buildings etc, cheers Mart
I learnt to swim in this pool in the late 60's and early 70's. I also did my city & guilds in computing upstairs in the 90's' Such a shame and waste that they closed it.

Omg Guys I had to have some swimming lessons there when I was younger when my usual pool was out of order, Scary as hell as a child that place was. I have to drive past this when I go to Asda just around the corner.
Patrons paid a shilling for a first-class Turkish bath and sixpence for a second. They were charged sixpence for a first-class vapour bath. A second-class one cost threepence. Real shame! Lived close to it for years and swam my only ever Length in that pool during my swimming lessons, I’m a shite swimmer so the staff were clearly on point, I’ve never done another since that day in 2007! 😆. Can I also say it’s absolutely shocking to see something interesting in Tunstall aside from the run down high street lol. Great video and definitely got a new subscriber, the banter was great (and the head banging! 😂)
bit of a late comment I know im binge watching all your videos, I love u guys, but I no this place, my home town!! and there are many many abandoned places around this area you should definitely come back and do more!!
I really, really like the bit of history/info look up afterwards. But there was none this time. It would have been cool to maybe hear about how these pools worked 🤔
When on rafters and the floor isnt covered, find a wood door to toss across the rafters for a safer walk. I've watched so many cross sketchy areas and right next to them doors stacked along walls smh lol An you know those old doors have pins that with a few wiggles loosen up an can be taken off the hinges 😉
its been closed just over 10 years or so, the building I believe is up for sale but sadly the whole town is falling down needs millions spending on the area
Would the walkways be for the coal trucks to take coal from outside to the boilers? Just going off with the cart wheel that looks like it run on rails and the chimney it obviously for the smoke from the boiler.
I was thinking, after seeing Matts fear of confined spaces in mid week, does this mean Andy will be staying 24hrs in Glasgow by chance 😜😂 Oh if you’ve not seen it yet, get yourselves over to Beepers Beef and share it to bits 😬
At 2m 30sec am I seeing stuff or is there movement to the right of the upstairs door way inside it? Swear I've watched it ten times and I see something more behind the door frame when the light gets shined up there.....

"In case of drowning, please use this rope to rescue yourself or others. Just kidding. No rope for you. You should have learned to swim. Idiot." I can't wait to see what other safety instructions they may have had in this building. Perhaps something along the lines of: "In case of fire, jump in the pool. Just remember, there's no safety rope." 😉
