I feel like the slow m1s actually can give an advantage… like, most pros are used to fast m1s, so they perfect the timing… but, with metal bat, it throws them off, as they aren’t used to the timing, so you can get good hits off with this…

You forgot to mention how OP Metal Bat's passive is inranked( extra ult gain from taking dmg )! Thanks to this passive Metal Bat mains always get their ults first, alowing them to pop it out with out woring to trigger oponent to pop out their ult ( Saitama is an exeption ).

Genos also makes it easier to uppercut dash but it needs a little timing because the blow sends the opponent quite high
This could also screw up people that are used to the normal uppercut height, and they'll dash too early.

I've seen the metal bat being "OP" because he has 5 extenders if you do it right but literally do it with deadly ninja and it isn't that hard to uppercut dash if you practice it so.
I mean deadly ninja has like, 4 extenders. Scatter, explosive shuriken on a ragdolled player whirlwind kick and the uppercut dash thing.

Metal really relys of semi passive play style. Tho it's still lackluster (m1 trading is almost impossible) and the good thing about metal bat's moveset is almost all the skillsets can interact with each other (it means so you can combo alot easier)

i think the slow m1s are helpful because when you attack and they block its delayed so they unblock when you hit

Nah not really. He has slow m1's because he's just sluggish in general playstyle. They already patched that by giving the person i-frames on wake up (cant be stunned) and also making you unable to m1 for 2-3 seconds after knocking them down

But if you have high ping it sucks.
The main reason i use metal bat is because of its insane versatility, pretty much any situation can be countered by the character, long range, close range, mid range, etc
Metal bat has good damage, good block breaks and good amounts of extenders but his slow m1s throws him off
If i was the devs ile make the last and first m1 of metal bat unblockable to be revamped

for your information, genos has the tallest uppercut, not metal bat. But sure, he does have some fling advantage to make up for the slow m1s
I found a trick that if after using moves that ragdoll them, like 1st, 2nd, 3rd skills, if they dont have rgc just do 3 m1, but u wait for ≈0.5 seconds and do the 4th m1. U shouldnt use the jumping downslam because it can be countered, instead, using this trick will more properly. First found i guess?
(I tested so many times and it always work, they cant counter that, but u need to timing right. Overall, this is all about the timing, and its so easy to do)
Metal bat has 3 unblockable moves which its good as a character, it also has unescapable techs especially the foul ball beatdown tech WHICH is op and annoying if the opponent is making the tech. The only problem of metal bat is the slow m1s making it a bit useless at m1 trading. If metal bat has fast m1s he might be going to be the top 3 or 4 best character on TSB.

4:00 metall bat has true combo. 4 m1, foul ball but instead of hitting with bat them you should hit them with a rock(2nd part of foul ball). If you land it right player will backdash to you and you can side dash to him + continue m1's . After downslam use homerun, hit ground slam, front dash, 3 m1s and beatdown.
You get that it is not a true combo if you can ragdoll cancel it, right?
