The only problem with this set-up is that I have to rip the roof off my house for the camera to see the rooms.
Even then this maynot work that good 😂😂😂
pro tip : watch series on KaldroStream. Been using them for watching a lot of movies these days.

Barbie and Ken may just get a security system for their playhouse if my daughter is willing to slow down long enough to help me build it and hopefully she'll learn a little about electronics and maybe get the "Maker Bug" to start building her own projects.

Jun Peng, I really liked your project, but I can't find where you change the date and time sketch in which variable resistors are connected to the display and to what pin on the arduino connects to the rightmost contact on the keyboard? Thank you!
That's quite a great project you put up! Well done...I have a question. How can your code be modified so that the system will constantly check the sensors whether or not the alarm system has been activated? If the alarm pin is entered while one of the sensor is open and its suppose to be close the system will signal that particular sensor to the user. The system can be armed only when all sensor are inactive that's all doors closed and the is no motion in the rooms.
That is a wonderful and neat work.. I am truly impressed :)
I want to ask that after powering Camera through relay how did you set it to record video by default ?

What GSM module did you use ? Can I use SIM300 to connect to Arduino Uno instead of using SIM900 or SIM800L? I'm doing home security with sms alert for my university physics project but I want a cheaper gsm module. Is it going to be any error if I use SIM300 instead of SIM900?

Can anyone help me.i made a simple pir alarm and its powered of a lip battery.when mains is turns on it charges the lipo. problem is is i arm the alarm why the battery is charging from the mains moments later the alarm will go off like the pir sensor has been set off even tho noting was moving. if i disconnect the charger from the battery and set the alarm it does not randomly go off and works as it should. im guessing im getting interference from the battery charger but not sure what to do or try ?

Hello, HOW did you turn off/on the cam?? I know you mentioned it on the codes and your Schematic, but still I don't get it. HOW did you connect your CAM? is it only your model you used can be turned on and off??

We bought everything from your list, and constructed according to your
schematic. When we launch arduino with your code:
it´s only launch servo and display start lighting without text.
Sensors not responding.

The code is ok?? The connections are ok?? i remove the relays, include the camera and the lights, from the code and the project and this not work. After that the green led is always on, and the rgb module is always showing 4 colors(red, green,blue and white). I need help to put this project work. Please, help me
If my accomplice constantly waves outside the hall would that keep the camera repeatedly switching back there while I Rob your garage anonymously? (I assume you have disproportionately good stuff to steal there as it's 3 times the size of every other room.)

I am doing a similar project and I have the same problem ... if one of the sensors is active while armed, i cannot deactivate the system untill the sensor is not active

Hello, love the work. I got a question, does the solid state relay have to be suppled with constant current to close its relay or just a trigger pulse. TY :)
I used a separate power source for the relay to trigger the camera. Camera needed more current than the arduino board can produce.
let me rephrase myself, do i need to supply constant power to the relay, like giving it current just to maintain the hold of the magnetic coil or just a trigger pulse to switch position from open to close.
can i use any digital camera.........if yes then how its gonna off and on to its recording mode so quickly

Hello, i build my own home security system. you find some videos on my channel. i'll publish the sketch and the circuit, when i am ready. Sorry for my bad english. Features atm: RFID-Reader, I2C-bus-connected terminal/ sensorcyles (Arduino Nanos) to maincontrol (Arduino Mega) with sabotage protection, SD-card event logging. Next time i'll add ir-sensors, keypad for configurations, LAN-module for webcontrol, rf-transmitter
