I live somewhere that has likely never seen a bossnut, but kudos to you guys! In a world where prices seem to continually rise while quality goes downwards you have put in the effort to create an honest product once again.
Looks outstanding! I loved my first gen triple B then my Sentry Pro and even when I got another longer travel bike, I couldn’t part with my Sentry Pro which is still just superb!
Would love to hear what’s coming on the Pro model but after watching Guy and also MBR I’ve got to call into the Doncaster Go Outdoors after work tomorrow to throw a leg over this. Always hankered after the old Bossnut but kept riding the hard tails but over 50 years young now so full sus may be calling and at a cracking price. Thanks Folks.
This bike looks awesome! I'm still riding my old limited edition Beastnut I bought from new. Still love it. Ended up getting it powder-coated in matt military green though cos that yellow was 'orrible 🤣👍🏻
I imagine better fork and rear lockout for the Pro. Having got through after work to check out the Bossnut at go outdoors in size medium. The paint looks deep and lustrous in the metal and because it’s a deep colour the actual branding I is only spottable really close up and in fact the Bossnut underneath is almost totally lost so the whole bike looks so clean. As MBR said I also felt the bars needed more rise but that’s easy with another bar I’m always between medium and large and if going for more movement round the bike when riding I tend to go medium but if for inter rides I go Large. The fact I always run a defy stem so short my bars are always directly over the fork crown I think I would need to get the large for more reach as the medium just felt a little short for me although I’m now only 5ft 9.5 inch compared to my back in the day 5ft 11 inch I do have a larger ape measurement. Good job I called when I did as got about 5 minutes just riding and hoping it around the store but no more than 10 to 15 minutes after I tried it it was sold… only finding out as I talked to two young lads that asked if it was the Bossnut tucked away behind the counter as I spoke to them about it the sales assistant came over to say they got one in store built it up put it out and after I tested it out someone bought it online. Think they have a winner on their hands again, well I think that was never really in doubt. I Do have a pike ultimate I never got round to fitting to my Pace RC529 I could put into a Bossnut down the line think I’ll see what the pro build brings in February March time.
I nearly bought to old model but I am glad I held off as this looks like my perfect full suss! Could you offer an orange frame please? (I know you can't, but if you could the bike would score 11/10 for me.)
The previous generation Bossnuts were made in the same factory as the Polygons but have always been Calibre's own designs. These are a whole new beast from a new factory built from the ground up with new geo and components.
@@Gmh6477 We really did try to make this as black and white as possible but have clearly failed on that! We design our own bikes from the ground up, this bike is manufactured based on our designs and development over the last 4 years with a totally different factory/manufacturer in a completely different country. We had already paid for the forgings so carried forward old forgings from previous bikes we'd developed and improved on ones we wanted to update which is why there's some shared forgings with old bikes.
BOSSNUT!!!

We're a big fan of that bike too. Will have something similar coming out in the not too distant future
Awesome to see the bossnut back, looking forward to it head to head with the new voodoo 😉
Fantastic video, and what a bike!
Cheers! It's been a long old journey to get here but we're stoked everyones on board with the new bike
Love it! Champion of the people with that price!
We try our best!

Can't please everyone with the paint jobs but glad you've ended up with something you're stoked on!

Loved my BBB! You mentioned a longer travel version that you would be launching in another video I watched. Any details yet?
looks sick but why is it called the bossnut what does this mean
I love my 2021. It’s so much fun, I can take it on any trail. Are they still made by polygon?

Yes they are… “new factory” doesn’t mean different company
@@CalibreBikes that’s awesome. They look so good. Is it possible to buy just the frame? I’d love to upgrade my 2021 bossnut
